i carnt get into chat room either it says my nick is not registered
help pls

There are already several threads relating to this and there is a help section on the chatroom page.
You have to re-register your nick to be able to enter the chatroom as we are now on a new server.

Here's how it works:
If you click on the link marked "Chatroom" you will see some instructions on how to register. In order to register you will have to follow these instructions.
If you don't want to do the donkey work, just make a post in the Cafe and the chatroom fairy will see your post and go into your computer and do it for you.

If you are using the java, which is linked from the chatroom page, then please use the drop down to get into the Help room. Once in there one of the OPs will help you register and get into the main Swinging Heaven Chatroom biggrin

If you are trying to connect with mIRC then once on the server ( ) please type
/join #shhelp

The chatroom fairy doesn't just 'appear' :roll: noooo, you have to make a post, and at the same time, close your eyes, click your heels together and say three times
"There's no place like chatrooms"
And hey presto, the chatroom fairy comes and transports you straight there :smile2:

cpl4cpl if you are still having problems then click on http://www.swingingheaven.co.uk/chatroom/index.html and it will give you all the help and advice you need.

got into the help room. the op's were a great help (seemed like they were very busy!!) but got us in anyway......
chat name is rolex, now got to register rolexlady!!!!!!

Just for the record....
the Moderators help look after the forums, adverts and stories.
the chatroom ops look after the chat room.
There are a couple of people who are moderators AND op's. Personally I think we should call them moped's wink

You see Ian is married to Dawn_Mids who is both a Moderator on the forum and a chatroom OP..... I think he really means he wants to call her a bike but just hasn't got the guts to come out and say it.... :wink: lol

....i registered and confirmed my activation code
but it still ask's me to type somethin, i just dont know what i'm doin and can't get in lol

IIRC Ice Man, you have to type what it says but put your password in. Then once you've been accepted you need to type /join #swingingheaven to get into the chatroom. But hey, what do I know, I'm pissed drinkies
