Having gotten used to the new system I find it ok, one suggestion I would make is could the chatroom users be shown in alphabetical order so we can easily see if a particular person is on line, anyone else agree

The chatroom name list is in alpha order when you first arrive, top to bottom it's z-a - but then as new people join they are added to the top of the list.
One shortcut to see if someone in particular is on, is the click on any name in the list, then type the first letter of the name you're looking for until you get to the name you want (or not if they aren't there)
Be careful when doing this though and remember to scroll back to the top and click on "Chat to all" before you type again, or you'll send a private message to the person who's name you clicked on last
