I can change user names if its necessary, but its not an option for members to change their names in their account settings as it would make site moderation a nightmare.
There are just under 6,000 members on SH with boy in their user name, I don't see how yours is any worse than Dell Boy.
The chatroom in use is Flash based and does not use Nics like the IRC one, the changes coming this week are to the existing chat room.
Bexhillboy is correct in thinking that under the chatroom rules that we used for the previous chatroom, he would not have been able to use his nick.
It was a decision taken by the OP's to exclude certain words as these were deemed as to give the wrong impressions. Boy and girl being 2 of them.
The chatroom OP's have not been included in any decisions so far about the rules for the running of the new chatroom, so I am therefore unable to comment on the ability to use any nicks with boy/girl in them.

Why worry ? ya cant get int he chatroom anyway without your computer throwin a tantrum. Ive just upgraded to windows XP with millions of Gigabytes and memory and it still freezes me up lol. Any ideas anyone ?
