Chatroom doing head in - light at end of tunnel though!

I've tried several times in the past to get into the old chatroom, both with the java client and with mIRC and had problems with it every time. The new room works like a dream!
I registered on this site yesterday and made my first visit to the chatroom today - what a great bunch of people visit (t)here! Of course, my impressions might be influenced just a little bit by the fact that there weren't many (if any) other femaes int here at the time.. what it is to be so popular for a while.
