Chatting?

As you have said Constance you are an infrequent visitor and I am sad to hear that you didn't enjoy your visit today. It's not always like this. Yes there are many rooms where all you will hear is "ASL?" "Male looking for bj in xyz location"...
But not all room are like this smile

If you visit the Admin created rooms (The Pool, The Beach Bar, The Jacuzzi, The Surf Shack) there is more chance that you will encounter a bit of chat as these are the rooms the 'regulars' are more inclined to frequent.
A lot of the rooms are created by chat users and will naturally be specific to the name of the room eg " wife swop pics" etc..
I agree there is a bit of a problem with directors when you have people on cam-there is always going to be. We are awaiting a new set of chatroom rules and new servers to update the chat and make it more stable. All I can say at this time is stick with it-it will get better smile

I had an open mind when I went into the chat room for the first time but my brain fell out!!! :giggle:
But I do have to say its a bit unfair to make those asumptions after your 'infrequent' venture
keep looking & you might have a giggle!
The Admin rooms are good ... But try to get into Jo Place you just might like it there!

i use the chat room quiet a bit, it depends on the time of day you visit as per number of visitors, although i find the room sticks somewhat / or is that my pc, i can write something yet it will take a while to appear, nevver mind wales won whocares

Ive been in the chat room a few times since everything has changed.
dont reconize any of the names on there. maybe just 1 or 2.
it is mostly about sex and swinging but thats cos it a swinging chat room ;-)
but before it all changed, you could have a good converstaion about all sorts, not just sex.
but i havent seen much of that,( dont mean sex, im getting all i need from my other half ;-) ) geuss im not looking hard anough lol

Firelizard did a similar post last week and as a result set up a chatroom for some of the forum users which is password protected.
Maybe this is an option for people who want to actually chat in the non-chatroom lol

Perhaps one of the permanent rooms could be dedicated to chatting?
This wouldn't take much work, just renaming (for example) 'The Riverbank' to 'Chat only - No Cams'. I think this would please a lot of the old guard who enjoy a nice natter over a cup of tea, and wouldn't need much work to enforce, as the baying hoardes would be put iff by the title.

I think Constance description on the whole is quite representative of the rooms, most rooms (and I have visited them frequently) paricularly later at night dont even respond when you say Hi to them most of the discussions seem to be done as privates.
