Some really good stuff here!! lol
We are not charging clubs to have reviews and details on here, we see it as a valuable tool for the members to use.
We do have final say what clubs manage to get listed on the site, we have removed at least one because they called the office and were trying to force us to take out all the negative reviews from the SH members. Refrences were made to the negative members of this community as being "lying scum" etc. This did not sit well with Admin and now we refuse to list the club at all on this site.
All the rest of the comments will be noted and we will sort something out, it would be good to have just a few people doing the official reviews but there are over 50 clubs so I am not sure if it would be possible.

Does that mean you will or wont come clubing with me????

I would love to go with you but I think that one of the single sex starved animals in the office like Noel, Elliot, or Nick would prefer to go!.

The only thing I would question is the one reveiw per person/couple per 3 months.
As each visit to a club can reveal a different experience, 3 months might be too long especially if something significant changes - but I get the point about repeatedly reviewing the same club.

agreed. and though there's obvious problems with assuming most often reviewed = most popular, the fact a lot of people go to the effort to review a club ((( i.e. lots of reviewers have obviously been there pretty recently ))) might be a decent measure of the level of interest a club is generating?

Or not.... the whole of the swinging world does not revolve around SH and it's review pages. A lot more information can be gleaned by visiting the websites of the individual clubs than can be gathered from reading reviews, for this reason I'd hope that any websites related to the clubs were still made available by link as well as the clear contact details too.

I agree, that wouldn't change, but the reviews are very useful.
A date for each review - that way we will know if comments are recent or prehistoric

how dare you disagree with me using my I.P.!? smackbottom
yep . . . SH is not the be all and end all . . . but then people who read reviews on SH are obviously SH users? so . . . SH users reviewing clubs for other SH users is perfectly valid?
and . . . the clubs own websites are obviously gonna be positive, so how much credence can you place in them? dunno
my point was . . . if X amount of users place a review this month, then X amount of users have obviously been there this month, so Club X has obviously had a fair few SH users there this month? that's a measure of it's popularity on SH?

This however does not take into account the amount of people who swing and do not post reviews at all. I have myself been to a fair few clubs but have only ever posted one review due to me not wanting all and sundry knowing where I've been and when. confused
The reveiws are admittedly a useful bit of 'unbiased' rolleyes (yeah right) information and hold a little more credance than any bullshite a site want to lace with brilliance about their club, however the reviews don't give images which can give a clearer indication of the reality of the club surroundings. although the reveiws take into account atmosphere and peoples personal experiences, what one person is looking for might not be what the next wants hence the need for more than reveiw every three months. So I am in fact agreeing with you in a round about way, so keep your wig on! ;)
However, I'm eager to ask for all this information when I personally can't be bothered and know that I'm less than likely to post an actual reveiw of a club because I don't have the inclination to for many of the reasons stated above. Reveiws are good for people starting out or if youre in a quandry about two places... however the real test is to go see for yourself... end of wafflechops for tonight! :P flipa
