Club reviews or not !

I have tried to write a review for 'Club one 2 one' in the clubs & parties section - TWICE.
Having pressed the the send button after writing my review it gets wiped out with an SH register for new members page. mad

I had already signed in.
Ok so i'm a 2 finger keyboard tapper and can't look at the screen at the same time which takes me longer to write anything . it is frustrating when all is for nought when it is wiped there a time out or something for writing a review or did my pc fall asleep waiting for me to finish it confused

Has anyone else had the same problem?
Help needed here please rolleyes

Maybe try copying the text when you've finished it, before you press send. Then check you're logged in, paste it and then send it. If it disappears then you can just re-paste it and try again.

There is a time out when posting a forum reply so perhaps its the same thing when writing a review. If it is the same as the forum time out thats caught me a few times then the best you can do is to type what you need to and if its taken a while, just highlight it and click copy before clicking the post button, at least that way you've got it to paste back in if you have indeed timed out. If thats not the reason then....fucked if I know dunno

I agree. I tend to use Notepad (Windows's most underestimated accessory) to write the text out first if I'm makeing a long posting, and then copy / paste the text into the web page form.
That said, the Clubs Review facility has been notoriously flakey over the years. At least some of the reviews are now less than 9 months out of date, but I suspect that not all the bugs have been ironed out.

Yes, Yes, I know we all have note pad & word pad to cut and paste from but that adds time to what maybe a busy schedual for the customer.
Sorry but this part of the system needs a looking into.

Yep the reviews page is broken, just tried to post a test review and it ain't having it. Like NWC said someone will probably have a puggle with a spanner when they read this.

I've fixed the error that was on the page.
As for the time-out thing I'm afraid there's not much we can do about it, the login expires after 24 minutes of inactivity on the site. If we increase that number the system will be slowed down by the amount of inactive users still with sessions on the server.
Best solution is as mentioned above, either write the review in a text editor first or just before your press submit copy the text.

Go have a look 7up I had a plod around after the guys from admin had a puggle and fixed it and found it tucked up behind a desk, I've taken it into the review section and stuck it up on the page with some blu tac so it should be there now
