I' ve noticed that when trying to find a meet I've been a lot more sucessful when going to clubs than I have with responding to adds, chat threads etc....
I know some Single fems get swamped with add replies so I don't really blame them for not reading all of them.
Do other people find this? I was wondering do single guys have a no show reputation so when I'm at the club I have already past that question? .... Or is it my unashamedly sophisticated charm & devilishly good looks? (just to clarify that was a joke!)
Clubs meets are best for us, ie swapped emails with people on here or other sites and then arranged to meet at a club. If they turn up, great, if not, then we still can have a good time !!
J & S
The phantom couple profile ran by a guy.... Fergot about that old chestnut! Looks like whenbim next in the mood its off to a club! Which I'm thinking next Friday (14/12/12) ... Any sugestions?
I've been to partners, had fun there but might give no3 a go.... Still on the lookout for a swinging partner as my last one hung up her boots? ..

I think the answer lies in your profile, but not just yours, most single men on here.
Approach anyone on here and what do they see
You have no pictuers, they would have no idea what you look like before the meet and therefore no idea if there is any initial sexual attraction, not so bad if your sending a picture with your mail but many don't even have them in private, result = limited interest in that person.
Your married and cheating, your choice but it will put many people off meeting you.
Your looking for fuck buddies ie regular meets, some want this but for many swinging is about variety so they don't want to meet the same guy every few weeks.

At a Club
They see you, your face, your body shape and your demeanor.
Your on your own therefore to all apparent reasoning your a single guy.
They can have some fun with you then never need to do it again, it is a neutral venue and even if your there the next week they can easily decline an invite to play.

Though there are lots of couples and single fems on here, take away the number that are outside your area criteria or you outside thiers, remove all those not looking for single males, remove all those not looking for males playing on thier own, the numbers are well down now and probably comparable to a club you might visit.
So I believe clubs will always give greater results.
another consideration thou for a single guy is the cost of going to a club. Membership and entry fee is normally at least double what it is for a couple of a single fem. It can cost a guy up to £100 for a memeber ship and normally about £30/50 to get in...not a cheap night out. I have been to a number of clubs but always on swinging heaven social night, where I know a few people. I must admit I have been on here a while and so hopefully known as genuine, and so I do have most of my meets either at my house or theirs. The fact that I can accommodate does give a decent indication that I am genuinely single !! I think its nice to be able to have a drink and a chat in comfortable surroundings and then fun in comfort and at your own pace.
just another perspective on it really.

True they pay more, that is not unusual for males, happy hours for women entering a nightclub early, special rates on car insurance, cheaper entry costs to nightclubs and swingers clubs, there is a reason for that, no women in a club, no men will stay and the bar will lose revenue, women have less car accidents than men etc, but it works both ways.
My hair is longer than most women yet I pay only 10% of what they are charged for a styling or cut n blow dry, my clothing is far cheaper even when there is far less material used on womens clothing, my shoes are cheaper yet tend to use more leather/material and so on.
BUT, perhaps men should shop around more ?
I believe your in the Cannock area, about half an hours drive from Xstasia, Retro Club, Chameleons, Adventures and AtlantisEVOLUTION swingers clubs.
I don't know all the prices for single males in those clubs but at the club we go to regularly
There is NO membership fee for single males
Single males pay £30 for a nights entry to the club (Couples pay £10) (based on Friday nights), now the club may consider lowering the entrance price to £20 for single males and raising the Couples price to £20 but I believe that if they do the single members that go will complain, £30 is to some a lot of money but £10 is more if the couples stop going and no fun is to be had.
Add to that, it is a BYOB club (Bring your own beer/spirits) and no license bar beats Asda price (giggles) and mixers are only £1 each I think most would agree that it is a very reasonable price to pay for a good night at a popular club (record numbers in both Friday and Saturday last weekend but a shortage of single males)
And if SH want to organise an event at the club I believe, if the numbers warranted it, a reduction on the entry fee for both couples and singles would be available subject to being on the guest list before arriving but I would have to request that from the owners.
I also believe that atlantisEVOLUTION would make an excellent venue for a social as the whole downstairs area is dedicated to socialising with bar, dance floor, dance pole, great disco/lighting and a large standing/seated social area, with all playrooms (group, individual and private lockable rooms situated upstairs so even club/swing newbies won't feel uncomfortable and the dresss code is "normal niteclub attire" though the sexier the better is welcomed.
your comments welcomed .........

I think its a mix, a club is so easy to just turn up, if a meet is at a home but of someone feeling guilty, its not so open and pleasurable. That said I have never been let down by a chap not turning up, not offering a warm welcome and never wished I had not gone.

I actually organised a social at atlantis when it first re-opened as atlantis/evolution and indeed it was a great nite and a very freindly club. Now don't get me wrong I know all the reasons for charging single guys more, but equally in difficult times, you can maybe understand why they would choose to try and arrange a meet at home. Most clubs I think charge about £50 for membership and £30 to get in. Some are bring your own drink, some have a bar. All I am saying is saying some guys like home meets, for this reason.
As for other bars offering free entry to females before a certain time etc.....you will find that was stopped and outlawed under the sexual discrimination act. They have also been made to stop the differance in insurance. At one time young girls were charged less than young guys, as they had less accidents. This was stopped....the insurance companies now have to charge the same.

aaah please bear in mind I am an old git and have not been to a niteclub since going to my first swingers club 12 yrs ago, but the genders in clothing still exist.
atlantis has improved dramatically since the new owners took over i doubt you would recognise it now lol and with zero membership fees and £10 for cpls and £30 for single guys perhaps you should put it on your list of venues for SH socials ;)

I did try, I posted a meet n greet social for the 7th December on the appropriate forum page but got a NIL response, I know deancannock is well known for organising very successfull socials so thought he would get a better response, I am happy to organise another if people are interested, I supply a free buffet to the event and the venue provides the facilities including disco, free membership, reduced entry fees for single males (at £10 for couples it doesn't really need to be discounted)
lets get xmas out the way...and i'll look at doing another social at atlantis.
watch this space.

Back to original post lol
As a single fem I prefer to meet in a club, first time at least, just for the safety aspect!
I can't accomodate as have kids, and don't fancy going to a guys home as I don't know what I'm walking in to! I have heard tales of 5 guys being there when a single girl has arranged a meet!!
I'm also free to say not thanks in a club without ruining the night for both of us!
xx
just my tuppence worth as usual wink
