Ok so I'm going to get all simplistic again... it's a context thing re the pictures for me.
Somebody may have a nice nose but take a picture of it at some jaunty angle and they could be Gérard Depardieu for all I know!

As a month old newbie here I've been reading threads like this with great interest.
I have done a lot of messing about trying to get some decent shots for use in my profile but the results never seem to be that good (genetic limitations considered obviously wink )
One problem I have with doing a more 'tasteful' full or semi body/face shot is that, with only having a (cheapo) webcam atm, it's virtually impossible to get a decent sharp picture as I have to stand virtually the other side of the street to get all the relevant bits in lol
Is it really worth investing in a cheap digital camera bearing in mind I'd probably only ever use it for this site anyway ?
Any other advice on tarting up my profile will also be gladly received.
