We can go and with the games left and still get through to Germany, we never play well in these early season international.
all that matters is we get through to the finals and that is still within our reach, so chill out everyone,
it aint over till the fat gazza sings
Yep - and Nicole Kidman is still within MY reach. rolleyes

ps Not VERY bitter about Saturday either biggrin

Er...I don't think a Celt would say "COME ON NORTHERN IRELAND" (who are mainly Protestant supporters). Celts would say "COME ON IRELAND (as Celts are mainly Catholic supporters!!) rolleyes

Celts are a race of people that used to live here a long long time ago before the Angles, Saxons and Jutes took over a lot of the land. They then called their part Angle-land that became England.
The Celts were established in what today we call Ireland, Scotland and Wales. The Celts from England migrated into those parts and also the South West of England.
The Celts of Ireland also settled in Scotland (once called Pict-land) and intermarried with the locals. Somewhere around the 17th hundreds the Scots were invited to migrate back to what is now Northern Ireland by King Billy.
So it does not matter what religion you are........if you are Scottish, Irish, Northern Irish, Welsh or part of the South West of England.....you are a Celt.
So I stand by my earlier statement
Dave_NottsYou are absolooooootely right, Dave – or rather the encyclopaedia you looked up is right! But what we are talking about is modern day FOOTBALL – not the history of man-fuckin’-kind. May I suggest you confront a few dozen Glasgow Rangers supporters and declare:-
“It does not matter what religion you are........if you are Scottish, Irish, Northern Irish, Welsh or part of the South West of England.....you are a
Then when you recover, you can look up your injuries in a MEDICAL encyclopaedia. :sparring: :sparring: :sparring: :sparring: bolt

No encyclopaedia was read. I just enjoy reading about the origins of my country and those around me. You may be talking about football but I was talking about the race called the Celts. That was my statement  . If you wish to change the context of my post to match the presumption you have made, then that is up to you loon
Have you met many Scottish people? Ask them are they Celts or tell them they are not Celts if they are not Catholic. You may be surprised by their answer.........and you may have to have your medical encylopaedia removed surgically after they have told you innocent

You can start by asking me if you like Dave. I could take you to Edmiston Road you can ask some of my friends. Of course we are Celts what else would we be.

Dave_Notts The MAIN CONTEXT of your post was about FOOTBALL i.e. 'green shirt - come on Northern Ireland'. If you want to talk about the history of Celts, Catholickers, Anglo-Sexons (sorry, Freudian slips), you should start a new topic.
By the way Dave, if a Catholic bashes the Bishop - is it a mortal sin? I am of course asking the question on behalf of a freund (oops - a Freudian spelling mistake).
Look - the history of The Celts  hump :hump: :hump: :hump: :hump: :hump: :hump:

My main context is that I am Welsh, a Celt and a Celtic team beat England........it could be any sport. Do you like like to tell people what they think? Ooooooo hiya boss wave I didn't know you frequented SH.
So far you have told me what my post is about, even though I explained to you what I meant. Then you capitalise points to shout at me, you use emotiocons to show agressiveness to me and you question my knowledge by suggesting I had to look up the information before answering you. You seem very aggressive...........I have heard that it is the build up of the male hormones in your body and a good wank will calm you down wink
Dave_Notts
Dave says Northern Irish football team is CELTIC.
Dave_Nutts also says he is a Welsh Celt. Did he mis-spell Celt? smackbottom
redface
I don't like all this rowing. I only made a comment on Englands crap result, and even now I am still chuckling to myself in the corner thinking the swede should have quit this morning
On the plus side, a good start for England in the cricket (well, except for that blonde bugger Warne (I reckon he must be bi you know)) taking 5 of our wickets !!!
So come on guys, kiss and makeup (and if you do, Claire says can she watch, she loves guys kissing lol  )
Nigel
xx
Hmmmm....that's an interesting request!!!! Come on you guys, step up to the plate - give Claire what she wants. I'm too far away I'm afraid.
Maybe it's the mention of Northern Ireland that gets people arguing. We have a history of it apparently.
Oh alright then. Sorry Dave. Love you really.
Let's call it a draw. If you call it a draw as well, it'll be a pair of draws.

Nigel Wanker? Yes - along with 99% of the male population - and 100% of celibate priests. England supporter? Read my comment near top of page 2 (careful though, as pages might be stuck together, you know what Dave's like - he can never get hold of a Big Tissue.

What was the score again though? Just tell me one more time (smile from ear to ear)
I'm going to predict that England lose against Poland 1 - 0 and Austria is a draw
