Has anyone been caught out with a computer virus (Win32:Agent-TAA Trojan last couple of days.

Hopefully nothing. My anti virus caught it in time - I hope. I looked at my firewall log and the little nasty was trying to send stuff out but it was blocked.
I wiped my drive to be on the safe side and everything's ok. Just wondered if anyone else had been caught out.

The cynic in me wonders if sometimes the anti-virus makers are behind the virus in the first place dunno

I know what your saying. I'm a bit puzzled how I got it in the first place - don't download porn because its usually riddled with viruses and spy-ware ect.
I got caught out with Kazzar a few years ago and that was enough.

As it happens, the last day or two my anti virus has been jumping up & down & saying it's caught a Trojan horse or summink dunno
Always seems to be when I'm on FAcebook.

Mine caught one the other day, but I don't know what to do with it now!! :shock: :shock:
I put it in the back garden where it has chewed up the lawn and several of Mrs Bilko's best knickers!! confused :? :? :? wink

Also thanks for the thread as I've just done a complete system check using Mircosoft Defender software. Took 4hrs : 38mins but done all the same & I got nothing...thank god.
Ohhh...the mentioned software is free but make sure that you have the legal software of Windows (like myself) & NOT a copy or you might get into trouble... :!: :shock:
