Some people answer an advertisement and want to meet on THEIR TERMS and if one asks for some confirmation of identity, they drop you like a hot prick (BRICK) thanks but no thanks, I have been hearing about time wasters recently : well these people are time wasters, because they ask everything about you, but will not tell you anything, or even speak to you on the phone.

well to avoid that feeling, just prepare and pass on at first contact a text to say you aren't prepred to take any time at all to put others at their ease - that way you can be sure that you only proceed with people who have the same attitude.

I think you cant blame these people who do ask a lot of questions as their only covering their own backs.
But i do agree that it must be frustrating if you dont find out anything about them,it does seem a contradiction in terms.
But there are loads and loads of great peeps out there,just give yourself tiome to meet them all

Trust is a two-way thing. I can easily understand why someone would want to know everything about you while revealing nothing about themselves, but it isn't realistic. In general, I don't think people should ask any question they wouldn't feel comfortable answering themselves.

You'll probably find that asking the questions they do they are only finding out for themselfs if you are the type of person/s they are looking for and by answering in a way they are not comortable with or they find something in the answer they dont like then they will like us then turn round and say those fatal words "thanks but no thanks" :cry: We ourselfs have read ads only to find out later by talking to them that are not after all what we are looking for and most of it could have been avoided if they had been open and honest about therselfs in their ad in the first place.
We have on several occasions now seen people change their ad to read what they think people want to read , in other words leave out the fact that the male might be bi or they like bdsm that sort of thing but leave it out as they know they would not get half the response they would had they left it in
