oooh yes, corn on the cob...mmmm. i love the way it's cooked in nando's restaurants...slightly blackened on the griddle, butter and peri peri sauce........dribbling now thinking about it..

Ooohhh just love corn on the cob, barbequeued with loads of butter and a bit of salt.
When my kids were small and they lost their front teeth - it was the first thing I fed em rotflmao

Bluddy funny it was, kept em quiet for ages trying to eat it :twisted: Tram lines all round it :lol2:

I was just saying the other day that I haven't had corn on the cob for a while and so yesterday went out and bought some from tescos. In the freezer at the mo and I haven't had any tea yet so guess what i'm going to have? Yum, Yum.

Ahhh yes! Sweetcorn - recyclable food! Errrm, possibly.
I like corn on the cob simmered for about 8 minutes and then I rub butter over it and wait until fully melted before eating.

Mini recipe from last night:
2 Corn on cob (frozen)
Tin Foil
Butter
Finely chopped red chillies
Cover corn in butter and place in tin foil
Sprinkle with chillies
Wrap up and place in 200 deg oven for 40 mins or so (with roast joint in my case)
Mmmmm.... roasted sweet chilli flavour... amazing :P
