does anyone else think ch4 shouldnt have cancelled countdown, given that mr whitely was hugely proud of the fact that the show had been on non-stop since day 1?
seems to me it wouldve been more of a tribute to keep the run going in his honour

Know this hijacks the thread a tad but there is a great sex tip called countdown that we learnt (learned??) from the show Sex Tips for Girls. Everytime we hear the familiar countdown clocks sound from the show we always think of sex!
And that is not meant to be in anyway dishonourable to the memory of Richard Whitely who always seemed such a sweetie and was way too young to have left us.
