was great catching up with a few old friends. and sorry i couldn't stay as long as i should of done.

Im really sorry that I couldnt make it....both my kids became ill..son with a burning temp and daughter onset of tonsulitus...kids who'd have em eh? Glad all those that went had a great time

we had a great time and was good to c new faces n a few old ones we aint seen for a while..good food,tunes and a great atmosphere..roll on the next one!

Thanks jiggle for the thread and all those who came to the social. It was nice to see so many new and old faces on the night .....all your comments have been noted and as always appreciated, good and bad.
Did try a slightly different format with the choice of music but I personally think it didn’t work as well as before. I was glad most of the food was eaten this time and have had no reports of food poisoning as yet. Had a few technical problems with my equipment which I hope to sort out for the next one….. There is nothing worse then your equipment not performing well on the night
We had 102 people through the door and most stayed till the end which is amazing considering it was only the 3rd social, and it is still a learning curve. For the next social name badges are a must (some names may need to be modified), as this will help the newbie’s and everyone mix and mingle more.
We had 39 names from a list of 110 who didn’t show and thank you to those who bothered to let me know. Also a big thanks to Jeana for helping with the food again and John and Tina for all their extras and doing the door, I wouldn’t have coped without your help.
Despite the birdie song people are already asking for the next one. It will be in January 2008, I’m just waiting for confirmation on venue and dates.
