Curry Deliveries

Ok First of all yes I am dieting but hell its a Friday night!!.
I ordered a Curry (Chinese) at this evening, they did say they are busy and It could take an hour :cry: Anyway 2 hrs 15 minutes later still no curry I am frickin starvin and have just tried to eat the cat as it walked past me rolleyes
I rang them up and said that that it was an evening dinner order and if we wait any longer then it will be breakfast. They said sorry etc and said it will be with you in less than 5 minutes as the driver has already left with it etc etc....
That was another 25 minutes ago, do you do the following (If it ever gets here)
1. Tell the delivery driver to take the cold late food away as it is so late
2. Just have a moan on the doorstep dont give him a tip and eat it anyway
3. Call the curry house and tell them you are not paying
I will also post the actual delivery time here (if it ever gets here)

Take the food and refuse to pay (it does help if you have 4 beefy mates around at the time to back you up).
If not-take the food, close door and refuse to pay and never order there again biggrin

I have boldened the very obvious answer. If you've only just seen the cat walk past you then how do you expect them to have curried it and returned it to your house on the back seat of a 1986 Ford Orion, all for the princely sum of

Guess what the owner of the Chinese has just come out, nearly in tears to say sorry personally for the 2+ hour long wait we had. I thought he was going to have a breakdown on the doorstep I can say I have been really stunned... I was not nasty about it being late when I called, had a joke with the delivery chap about it being nearly breakfast time. Anyway he just gave us a £25 voucher off for our next order.
To be fair the service has sucked tonight but this chap was pationately sorry about his staffing levels and I felt really bad even taking the voucher.
All is well that ends well, so curry on me next week wink

I've just checked with the chineese & they said as we have given a weeks notice there wont be a problem getting a banquet for 612,559 people there for 8pm :bounce:

Ive got to say slightly off topic but not if u undertstand, im 31 years old and never eaten a curry. On the radio this morning a new survey said that good old fish and chips is no longer our favourite takeaway, it is a curry. Im not a lover of very spicy foods, so what could you have from an indian takeaway thats not going to burn your mouth or other bits out. I dunno
