Are you cutting down on the amount of swinging sites you are members on because of the credit crunch???
Dave and i are on various different sites but over the last couple of weeks 2 have come up for renewal but we haven't been able to afford the £75 each required for renewal and have gone on to basic memebership...
Has the credit crunch affected others in this way? because as much as we love the sites and this way of life we have to be able to heat the house first!
Has swinging become an expensive hobby???

This is the only site I pay to be on, so at the moment can afford it. Not sure I would be able to justify paying more than one subscription though, credit crunch or not.

Am a member of 2 sites (both free when I joined) and only ever use this one as the other isn't to my taste..
There are enough free ones out there not to bother paying to join others IMO.

we enjoy what we do, and always find the money to do so, but probably at the expense of something else...
It can be and once was for us...
We have now curtailed our Munch travels and rarely(if ever) go to them now....

Yep... probably is more expensive than you think when you add up everything like that. :shock:
I have only ever paid to join one website and it was for a life time membership. It cost me about £50 eight years ago and I still pop in at times now.
I don't think I would pay to join another site now. I have more important things to spend my money on so I would just join free sites, I think

You can easily spend £20 going to the movies with tickets, carpark fees, drinks or food which is a similar amount to a trip to a club such as Chams

in terms of swinging site I only ever use this and one other, and they are both free so I don't feel the pinch in that respect...
but in terms of munches and visits to swinging clubs, yes I have had to cut back a bit in what I am doing... or had the plan a bit further in advance......

I think you are right with the clubs thing Fabio, as we are in plymouth not much about around here for us, a new one has just opened and we are going to try it out, but not going to get the new blinds for the lounge this month now lol x
But when we lived up the line we used to go to chams at least once a month but to go there now means a tank of fuel and hotel room and admission you are talking the best part of £150 which we just can't afford probably like many others, especially coming up to the most expensive time of year, not going to say what it is for fear of abuse

I am a member of a couple of sites but this is the main one I use. The others are free, but I wouldnt pay to use them if they did charge as they are not as much fun as on here.
As for the credit crunch, I suppose it means I will just have to buy less naughty clothes (or wear less) :twisted:

I use this site 99% of the time cos it is IMHO the best one.
I think it has the best chat room setup and also the forums are easy to use and there is not as much abuse as you get on the other sites.
I have saw lots of ppl who are no longer on here for various reasons on other sites and doing the exact same as they did here.
Sh is still the best and unless something drastic comes along and changes this place then I will always use this site the majority of the time.

I think it not unreasonable that the people we now value as friends on here up sticks and move closer to us.
As some live South, some East and some North this seems like a reasonable request.
We are members of some other sites, but I can't remember which, even less can I remember all the different usernames and passwords!

Could I just ask of those people that have replied in this thread, how many actually pay to use this site as i know there were free places offered a little while back...and only stay here because it is free!!! And would you move on if you had to start paying??

I'm a fully paid up member!As I said, this is the only site I pay to use - and indeed, is the only site I use. So at the mo, affording it isn't an issue. In fact, I think the annual subscription is pretty good value really.
