Where's the tension and excitement if you plan it well ahead. It's like the thrill of shopping after work on Xmas eve. Have you noticed how on television they always have a tight time constraint but always just make it. Telly doesn't lie!!!
Let out the spare room to some wainetta slob types then hide behind the sofa and when he comes in leap out trip over the empty pizza and other takaway boxes that they will have already generated and shout......................SUPRISE

Why not ask him to meet you at a bar after work. You turn up wearing a slinky dress ( a clingy wrap dress around is good for this ) and heels then after a couple of drinks lean in and whisper to him that you're not wearing any undies.
