Did no one see 'Dawn goes naked'? It was really good and I have taped this one so I can watch it later. She is a brilliant choice for the topic as she is your average woman who has been brought up to be shy and quite conservative, but she really is trying to keep an open mind and listening to what people say.
Fingers crossed this one is as good as the other programme.
The only one I saw was Dawn Goes Naked and while I thought the programme was a little silly, I fell in love with Dawn.
Another for the Dawn Porter fan club, she's rather delicious .....she needs to do a programme about swinging with bloke from the midlands next :rascal:
Seen her shows on BBC Three before being shown on BBC Two...& not Channel 4.
I just think that she is rubbish nothing new or cutting edge...just stupid waste of my time.
Watched them to see how dumb they are & I even sent her a message via her MySpace page letting her know this.
Like a sort of Big Brother Documentary style throw away rubbish.
What is needed is a series of serious cutting fresh documentary done by a clever journalist....
Not ....I want to see what's it's like to be....erm...erm...a Lesbian. Kiss other Girls & flim it but at the end...not become one. THE END.
Erm....I want to get a load of Women to get Naked like that fella from Channel 4 but do it for the BBC...& we'll get an Open Top Double Decker Bus & show our bits off around London. THE END.
Am more clever than that.....hope you enjoy your simple mind destorying Television.

I don’t dissect why I like things, I just do.
Maybe in the job I have and the depression in the word its nice to sit back relax and watch something light hearted and easy.
I don’t think this rates my intelligence?

Many people will not entertain the subjects that are being dealt with. Dawn's approach makes it more pallitable for the masses, in turn once they have for perhaps the first time considered something from a different viewpoint they may feel like finding out more and becoming more accepting.
Can that be a bad thing?
Not everyone wants 'hard core' information and explanation. Some people require a softening of a subject to be able to accept the subject matter at all and I think Dawn in particular does this beautifully. It is by no means silly and to discount this type of media as 'silly' is in itself silly to me.
She comes across as someone I would like to be around, some one I could relate to as a friend and by doing this I feel like I am experiencing the topic with her and empathising with her or at least understanding her. In that way I am either feeling like I am helping to guide her with things I already know and understand or learning with her when entering new experiences. It's like we're holding hands and taking each other through it. I am pretty sure this is the experience she was hoping to provide and in doing so she will be reaching far more than any hard core documentary can.
With regards to football. How can a job that pays a damn site more than any opera singer gets, be classed as working class heroes? That I fear has been taken away and made unobtainable, especially as so many footballers from the premier league teams are hand picked from foreign countries these days.
Role models? How often do we hear in the news that one has either beaten someone up, been done for drugs or speeding? I can think of better role models myself, like Dawn Porter perhaps?
