Why not just book a room for the night? You can get them from £29 at Premier Inn (I think) and simply leave when you want to. Prepay and you don't even have to interact with the reception staff as you leave - just drop the key off. Also one of you can stay the night if your circumstances change (like someone gets drunk).
Because if you book for a single night you have to vacate those rooms by 10am and can not book in until after 4pm. and as he states he wants it for the day.
If it was me though I would get a premier inn for 2 nights and that way I can do what I please.
I'd avoid the larger chains in that case, go for a privately run hotel, and have a personal conversation with the hotel person and see what they can offer. Online booking systems are always much more limited than talking to a person.

Nellie I like your spirit to go in a hotel and just get a room! ..have done that with a couple of couples but those meets were at night though.. a risk if not places but have got in somewhere and had fun with not much problem in finding where they had a vacant room going.
i got excited by the 9 an d5 website.. but have you seen the prices!! lol maybe a hooker would be cheaper. jk.
If i had enough swingers subscribing, If i knew there where definitly couples willing to pay, i wouldnt mind renting a flat, to sub rent for 4 hour sessions lol.
when i use to meet during the day it was always near heathrow as all the hotels have day rooms and reasonable prices.

yep try travelodge. often you can get rooms for only £12. Pay an extra tenner and you can check in earlier at midday.
