Is this now the most annoyingly addictive gameshow on television!!!!
okay.. i am offically addicted....and so is my office...... my office now grinds to a holt at and watches the last 15 minutes....SmileSmile people are turning the game into a bleeding game of skill!!!!!

Yes there is a big element of luck but if you get the right game there is also a certain level of skill too for knowing when to take the deal. Today I would have left with the offer the contestant got to 20000 which was in his box but was kinda lucky as he was the ultimate gambler.
Deal or no deal is filmed in Bristol where we live we have seen it filmed we saw 2 shows it takes ages longer to film than the 45 mins. My hubby got close ups in both episodes where as I was only seen in the distance :cry: You get free food and beer wine cider etc, we will be going again lol will let you know when we are on. Series 2 has been comissiion and starts filming around now. Its made by REndemol who are part of a larger chain of comapnys, so who ultimately funds Deal or no deal? Spanish version of Telecom.

well i must admit i love this format and just a game of luck more than any skill but its so addictive.i have heard its so popular it will be going on prime time tv on lets face it its got to be better than whats on a saturday nite at the minite.

Dunno much about tv shows ratings but was told it currently holds a 25% share of viewers for the time slot it is on. Basicly this means of all the people watching all tv at the time 25% are watching DOND. For its time slot this is way above average and far exceeding any other program at the times share.

I totally agree with you.. It's a simple format and it beats the S?i@ out of some has been celebs on Ice Skates

Must admit when it first came on i didn't take to it but i now watch it whenever i can... and i don't know what's made me change my mind, it certainly isn't Noel's sparkling wit!
Just tried the webgame.... took an offer of $44105 and then my suitcase had $500000 in it.... thank god it was just a game rolleyes

just been to watch the show being recorded in Bristol - have to admit it was the first time i've seen it so I was plesantly surprised - normally i'd claw my own eyes out than watch Noel but this was actually ok!

If you have seen most of the shows you will konow that at times the phonbe gets passed to the contestant to verify that its a real person. Still i tguess its not 100% certain the contestant could be asked to act but as someone must work out the deals its not a far stretch to think they make the call as well. Ohh and also on one show it was plain to hear a voice from the phone over the contestants mic.
