Well she is without doubt beautiful , and she was bigger than the emaciated sticks that populate Hollywood these days . However youre right she isnt that big really , in fact near perfect - my point was really the definition is impossible , as we all have our own likes and dislikes , and sexy isnt a size its a state of mind .

I for one totally agree with that, to me self confidence is sexy, and i don't mean someone who loves themselve, just someone who is happy to be themselve, i know many larger ladies who are happy with who they are and it shows thro, someone who can hold their head up high and talk to people with confidence will always apeal to other.
Personally i am none of the above lol its about how you feel on the inside to me rather than how you look on the out side, of course there will always be those who do not like larger ladies no matter how nice they are, but that can apply to anyone really.

In my experience I can't say there's been any noticeable correlation between a woman's size and how much fun she was. You maybe said it tongue in cheek, but on the face of it, isn't it saying to a smaller woman "I'm better than you because I'm big"? What if she said she's better than you because she's small? Why would I believe either of you on that basis?
I think scientifically, so I'd have to experiment with both of you, fail to reach a decision and start again.
Hi Ya
Well Ive never used the term as a BBW for myself cause I just class myself (mrs tiggs) as fat lol. Also if we are talking about big bums, well Idont think you could get any bigger than mine lol
Im 5.5 and size 18, but cause Ive only got a size 34DD top half, my bottom half looks bigger
Always been one of those that would love to be a slim size 10/12 with big tits but alas I may have been charmed with the big tits, but I also got the big bum to go with it.
This topic always brings out people's differences of opinion doesnt it?! lol
I'm reasonably happy with my figure - i dont want to be skinny, granted I'd be happierlosing a couple of stone, but thats probably as far as I'd go, it'd get rid of the lumps and bumps and general flabbyness, but I like rounded hips and big boobs, and i'm more 'me' this way - does that make any sense?
I really dont mind the 'BBW' label, tag, call it what you will, therefore I choose to use it. Like i've siad before, more for convenience than a "ooooo look at meeee i'm fat but stunning statement". I dont give a flying fluck if people think I fit the BBW label (as in, wether I'm beautiful or not) - maybe its a problem with what 'BBW' means that people find 'irritating/ offensive/ whatever - BBW = Fat but actually quite attractive? Fat but Body Confident Enough to Think I'm Sexy to Some People ?? define it any way you like, it simply means, to me, "I'm a big gal, so dont be expecting a size 10 when you meet me". biggrin

nice try ice_pie biggrin :D :D :D
and yes it was tongue in cheek the best sex is between the ears not the size, looks ov a person.
The major difference between Fat and BBW, is that one is an insult and the other is a compliment, which is why I tend to equate BBW with having 'body confidence'.

Can I volunteer to be your 'big' experiment?
I consider myself to be on the larger side.
I don't label myself as a BBW - because I'm not beautiful and I don't want to draw attention to the fact that I'm a larger woman.
I'd rather not label myself. Yes I have confidence issues and some of them are partly to do with my weight but I wouldn't like to be labelled in any way whatsoever.
I think if people are happy to use the term BBW then that's up to them - but just because you're big, it doesn't make you beautiful, same as just because you're slim, you're not necessarily beautiful.

i take it by that you mean that being called fat is a insult? personally i do not see how being called what you are as insultive, if someone calls me fat i am not insulted by it.....because i am fat, its not diffarent to someone saying...hey you have black hair....cause i have...does that make any sence? i always describe myself as fat.......dressing it up in such words as BBW, fuller figured, all woman, a real woman or whatever else tearm people use does not make me any diffarent to what i am...fat! wink

and thats where I would disagree, when did the word or the description 'fat' become an insult. Dress it up any which way you want, but as far as I'm concerned both terms mean the same, overweight. If anything I recognise the BBW term as being closer to obese than the word fat, don't know why its just the impression it leaves me with.
It matters not a jot if as a person your comfortable with your shape / size and I find it a bit of a paradox when people say they are very comfortable in themselves, but then go on to label themselves as if it's some sort of prepatory thing should they ever meet anyone, a message that says I'm overweight so be prepared, it just kinda says that deep down they aint as comfortable with themselves as they would admit.
As a bit of a lump meself I have to say that given a magic pilll, I would swallow it straight away because I',m not happy with my body shape yet too bone idle to set about altering it. For those that are truely very very happy with what you've got then I applaud you cos I actuallly believe that you are in a very very small minority.
Its been said so many times before, but physical attraction comes in all shapes and sizes and the inner state is one hell of a contributor to it, so if you are well and truely happy then get round mine and scoff all me buns and biscuits, you'll be doing me a favour.
Absolutely agree with that Dave - you been taking the pills again?

nope thats half the problem frecks if it aint got chocolate on it or cream in it it rarely gets past my lips.
I aint trying to be provocative, but I am just curious about this paradox of proclaiming to be happy and then pinning a label on.

.

To me personally, the BBW label is a prepatory thing because it's other people who have the problem and issues with weight/ size/ shape... not me. It is a message that says ' I'm obese so be prepared' because it's other people who are not comfortable with size/shape etc, and if someone does have that issue, they're making an informed choice wether or not to contact me/ get to know me/ meet me/ shag me/ whatever. I wouldnt expect to hear from someone who's looking for a Kate Moss, ya know?
Like I've said, me personally, am happy to be 'big' - i'd be happier losing a couple of stone of course, but then I've said that too. I'm not 100% confident, but I'm confident enough to feel I'm sexy and attractive to the right person. And if someone offered me a 'instant size 10 pill' - yes, I'd turn it down. (if it was an instant size 16 pill, i'd snatch it before ya could say Weight Watchers!)
