Did the south west MUNCH take place ?
i belive it did take place , but only 2 or was it 4 people turned up, read the thread but cant rememebr it all. apparently the guy who arranged it didnt even turn up, oh well it should have be arranged for in cornwall then i would have gone.

Red Baron, his delightful lady and ourselves were the only attendees which we all found rather surprising considering the amount of interest that was shown when a s/w munch was mentioned. And that`s right, even the organiser didn`t have the balls to show up!!
Even though we ended up having a wicked time it would have been nice if a few more people could have made it.

It's a shame it happens like that. I wasn't able to make it but did let the organiser know. The same thing happened with the sussex munch earlier this year. There was a lot of notice for this one and a LOT of people expressed interest, even so it's not totally surprising that organisers get let down. Why we be like the NW munch goers?!!!

The SW Munch did take place, but on a smaller scale than anticipated. I also had a PM from someone else who was there but we failed to spot each each other. Despite that, it was, however, lots of fun and should not be dismissed as a failure. Certainly we would be willing to try again.
Red Velvet, it would be great if you were to organise something. Don't hire a hall or spend any money. I suggest at this stage treating it as a simple meet up rather than a formal event. Just pick a venue and time and see who wants to come. PM me or Licker&suckim for help if you like. I'm sure you'd find some support for a country pub in the Poole, Bournemouth, Wareham area
