I spent ages battling with my weight, and all it did was to make me want to eat more. As soon as I became busy trying to juggle too many jobs, and the diet went onto the backburner, I lost three stone.

My ex took away my car. In less than a year I dropped from size 16 to size 8.
Eat only when you're hungry, drink loads of water and walk more. Walking's easier than trying to make time for excercise anyway.

A friend of mine has some serious weight problems and the diet's dont seem to be working at all, she loses a few lbs then puts on extra, we now hear it my be related to her thyroid gland and this seems to react differently in different people.
unless she means she's too heavy rather than too big, in which case she needs to be as lazy as poss to lose muscle mass! lol

I joined a gym and a slimming club last year and lost 6 and half stone in about 6 months, i starved my self and worked out for 2 hours a day, since i have put a lot of it back on mainly cause i just couldn't cope with it no more the hunger was killing me and i felt down all the time, tho it was nice to have the 'god havn't u lost weight' comments i purly didn't have the energy to do anything, what i'm trying to say really is theres nothing wrong with loosing 1lb a week its steady healthy weight loose and the chances are u will not end up like me and put a lot back on if u do it right, i went from a size 22/24 to a size 14 back upto a size 18 and yes of course i would love to loose the weight again and more but i wouldn't do it the same as i did last time
