Discrepancies in post totals

Sorry if I sound like some anorak, but has anyone noticed the discrepancies in some members' post totals as posted on the total posts descending table, and the individual members' post search totals. Some have discrepancies of several hundred posts, especially those who are mods....strange!

Possibly one area doesn`t account for deleted threads, and one does? Also, perhaps the posts mods place in their own dark and scary corner of the board don`t get counted in the area which shows a lesser post count for them? Maybe.

Mods get extra credit for banning people, the totals of anyone they ban gets transferred to their account. cool

That makes perfect sense when looking at Blue`s post count.
I`d say (approx)
Personal post count = 400
Posts working toward the each kill = 15
Total twats banned by Blue = 640 lol

does it REALLY REALLY matter whos done so many posts and who hasnt or if god forbid theyve been doctored for some plan for world wide domination of post numbers rolleyes
