Fake pics are pretty easy to discover.
I think most people on here would pick up on gender difference some point before a meet.

Dishonesty on SH, which one would you say is most used?
I voted other as i have found a lot of people in the chat rooms are here for sexy chat and not to meet.
I find this with people that have couples profile up but seems to me at times it is the guys wanting to know what others would like to do to their wives.
So more of a fantasy thing which is fine but their profiles should just reflect this.

I think age is a big one,some people must have had really hard lives or are knocking a few years off
As for those who have no detail,pics or location on their profile....I understand that some are only looking or want to chat but why then message people asking to meet up? its not hard to post some sort of pic or a couple of lines about yourself....blimey even I managed that and im a complete technophobe :lol:

I agree that you shouldn't ask for what you don't provide yourself. However, our profile is not exactly full of information because we do not attempt to meet off this site. Why fill in a profile and then have to moan about unwanted pms and winks when we only go to clubs?

so the profile isnt important for them, they dont care if its not filled in, or old / fake pics or lie about age, build marital status etc.
and i kinda think ok each to their own but FFFS dont wink me, message me ya cut and paste shit, whisper me in chat,or try and get into cyber sex chat. i dont want to be your latest on line fantesy.
the worst ones are those who appear nice and give out the impresion they are genuine and looking to meet, then disapear cuse it got to close to the bone and they couldnt fake it or find anymore excuses.
but i dont know if they are worse then the ones who actually turn up and are married and didnt say, not married and have no partner with them, 15 years older then they said or the photo, 5 stone bigger or smaller or a foot shorter etc etc.

i guess the reason some people are not honest is that they sadely must have low opinions of themselves and dont think anyone would talk to the real them, or they dont say only here for cyber cuse the real meeters wouldnt engage with them.

Think that like many things in this non inclusive world, age is a barrier to meeting people which is why people may lie about their age - men and women.
I cannot believe in chat how much time is spent discussing age and to be honest I can see why people dont give their real age. I dont mean trying to be 20 when you are 40 but if you are 40+, just be prepared to be over looked or have some put down.
Now to many the reaction to what I have said is "NO!!!! its not true nobody minds what age you are".

Not sure why anyone would bother faking - its just so likely to come apart if a meet is arranged (well at least age, photo's, single male turning up instead of a couple, etc). Having said that, rounding down of age has been the only "white lie" I've come across - and that was okay (not from this site either). Personally I don't have a Cam (though I may get one) preferring a pre-meet in a public location where I can be seen - and then if it becomes apparent that I'm Balding with a comb over, 60's rather than low 40's, 20 Stone rather than 14.5, and with a beer belly and pronounced squint, then walk on by !

For us we know why people lie, but cannot understand it. I for one do not like people who " con " others with lies and dishonesty.

To quote my almost blank profile....
I've left my profile blank as I was fed up with appearing on random searches by people from the other side of the country.
I'd much prefer that if somebody wants to know something about me, then they ask me directly. If I can answer, I probably will unless its something really personal like my house number.
As for expecting full details from others. If I want to know something that is not listed in a profile, I'll ask the person concerned.

Despite stating 'No marrieds or attached guys' on my ad or profile I still get guys saying they're single but they just happen to have a gf at home. A lot of guys think that just because they're not married to their live-in partner, that makes all the difference :doh:

I chose marital not just for the single men/women who turn out not so single but for all the single men who pretend to be a couple in order to get meets (never heard of a women doing this yet but you never know).
Couldn't pick one to vote for but it has made interesting reading what others have to say on the matter.
We have found people who are not totally truthful about different things age/sexual preference/marital status etc but that is obviously up to them but we would never consider meeting anyone who we weren't 100% sure of.
Our profile is 100% genuine and truthful what we want and looking for and if people like what they see they will contact us.
We would rather get 1 person mail us who was genuine and possibly meet rather than loads mail from pic collectors/single men etc
