Dont you just HATE wallpapering?????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
As a few of you peeps know at the moment i've go 2 houses and i'm surrently doing one up so I can move in. The trouble is all the walls are poo so they need to be wallpapered.
It seemed really easy when i first started doing it until I got to a window!!!!!!!!
lol I'm sooooooooo stressed out, so if any single guys fancy a meet who can throw in some wall papering PM's this way please rotflmao :rotflmao: :rotflmao: :rotflmao: :rotflmao: :rotflmao: :rotflmao:
joke!!!
lol and heres you looking at this thread thinking i was gonna be talking about 'do it yourself' orgasms lol
I tried to do fancy colours and sizes and stuff but THAT didnt seem to work either sad
Hi Curvy
I'm decorating too. I run into my own probs lol
Maybe we should start a decoratin suppot group
lol yeah!!!
I'm sure if we had a group and we all done each others house naked it would make the time fly :P
although I dont fancy trying to wash paint from my landing patch!!! redface its bad enough trying to get it out of the hair on my head!!!! rotflmao :rotflmao:
oh curvy, great minds think alike!!! this is the thread i was about to start.....titled "bed experts this way please..."
being the independant single woman that i am...when i bought a new bed last summer i took it upon myself to build the thing.....
suffice to say due to everyday use there are gaps and wobbles and creaks and i cant bloody take it any more!
i dont want a new one as i really like this one and i wish id asked my dad to come and build it for me lol
im sure all it needs it to be taken apart and put back together...or maybe i can just get some massive screws and fix it together at every angle?
so, to the point..........i wondered if one of you DIY friendly blokes out there could give me some advice...DIY friendly ladies also most welcome of course!
even better...would anyone volunteer to come fix my wobbly bed for a cuppa and a biscuit?
:giggle:
so do you mind if i add it on to yours instead?
biggrin

lol absolutely not at all lol
I feel this has the potential to be a long running thread, with being a single fem myself, I'm always getting stuck on stuff that is the 'mens' jobs. That makes me sound so old fashioned but i've never had to do these kind of things until now lol
aww thanks chick kiss
well i do the jobs around the house...i just dont always do them that well....redface
:P
In my case things get done DIY wise when I don't have neil bloody messing it up!
He managed to all but wreck a new 6ft by 6ft cabinet before we're even got the bugger out of Ikea! rolleyes I was the brains behind the metal bed construction for his cousin and pretty much could have done that on my own too!
I put up my cabinet and the 6ft square monster single handedly. I'm very proud to say I can put up all my own shelves, wire plugs and complete joinery tasks that need doing. smile
Form a queue ladies! ;)

sexkitten... rotflmao SO with you on that one! I have a load of bookshelves in my room that I put together myself... the top couple of shelves are ok, but I got something wrong and the further down you go, the further squiff the sides are... the sides at the bottom are so far apart that I've had to pile books sideways to prop up the bottom two shelves! :rotflmao:
curvygal, you're a braver woman then me, I'd never even attempt wallpaper! biggrin
Don't fall for that 'mens stuff' thing, all it means is they get to play with lots of cool stuff like drills and jigsaws and routers and feel superior. DIY's a doddle.

ok so when are you coming to help me fix my wobbly bed? biggrin
Don't let the big stuff get you down. Mainly it's to do with having the right tools - Isn't it always?????
I have a huge garden and it needs major muck-shifting to get it into shape. So I book a 'garden party' with my family and they know to bring their wellies not their sling-backs. rotflmao
Maybe we should set up a series of papering parties, painting parties, bed-building parties. :evil2:

Sounds good to me!!!
Gawd, don't let red see this or the 'Sassy's bucket of cum' jokes will be out again
wave ...thought you ladies would have beem inundated with male offers....but reading through the thread responses only one....and that wasn't an offer, more a sympathy comment as he seems to be having his own decorating problems.....
...wallpapering is OK, but so bloody boring and messy, windows (and door reveals) are notoriously difficult...but then you know that for yourself now, don't need a clever dick like me to tell you....I find it is best to lap the paper in the reveals with the lapped edge toward the glazing or the door frame...that way you don't see the join...
....flat packs i'm a dab hand at...problem is a distance...but do get up to Lancs occasionally....so not too far to get to Halifax on the M62.....am a tool freak, brand new and shiny...I've got tools that I don't even have jobs for!!!
.....so, at least one gentleman out there, with a sort of offer to help.....its whether I could make my visits 'oop narth' match your at home times....
.....keep looking, sure there must be some obliging gents in your area who would love to get going in your houses with their tools!!! biggrin :D :D

Although I'm a laaaaaady I am very good at DIY, I have even converted my loft (into what you may ask!) all by my lonesome! I even got a new staple-gun! biggrin

wink
i did have one offer in my mailbox but he wanted travelling expenses, a daily fee, bed and board, and he didnt even indicate if he's got experience int he field!!!!!!
He'd probably get here and expect a blow job too! evil
