Hi all question. Am i doing somthing wrong or is it always dificult for a single guy to break into the scene? iv spoke to poeple posted an add and replyed to some all to no avail. im not looking for instant meets just someone to talk to and get to know a few fokes have said hi on forum but have not replyed to me when i contact them. do all single blokes find it difficult or is it just me?

I know you were only asking - I wasn't having a go. However, there are many many single men out there who ask the same question time and time again. Usually along the lines of 'I have been here X number of days and contacted people but nobody answers'. Gets a bit 'samey'. You haven't done anything wrong, nobody knows you that's all. This place isn't scary, we were all newbies once.

Spose i was just lookin for a bit of reasurance. the mentor idea is great for askin questions so i dont make a complete fool of myself and i have 1 but you dont get a very good idea of who and whats out there till you get on forum. so i guess i better post more often.

I would agree pretty much with your statement. It's true to say that the swinging scene is just like any other "club".
I have only been on this forum a week and I would say that this is a surprisingly open "society" of members, who are wanting to chat and socialise. In fact I would go as far as saying that the social and friendship side of this group seems to me to be more important that the sex, which is a healthy attitude to have.
I am going to the rios meet on Saturday and I am looking forward to meeting some of the other users of this board. I am sure that I will meet a variety of cool people and have a lot of diverse conversations, as indeed I have most times I go there.
