Omg !!! how many times do i have to say?
In my ad i asked for a pic or they would get no reply, so why do they keep writing? some dont even send a decent letter, just a phone number and expect me to jump into bed with them. I also said 18-40, not 45 or 50
18-40 got it guys???
i have recieved over 200 emails, sorry if i have not yet got back to the nice guys who sent pics,im doing my best, out of the 200 only bout 70 sent pics, so to go on, but it gets me so mad after being so specific in my ad. My other rant is mens ads in the women looking for men, but i'll go on about that later,(3 more new ones there today)

Do Guys Read the Ads ????
Couldn't agree with you more.
We are a couple who have placed ads saying that we are looking for guys between the ages of 25 & 40.
We also say that we prefer to meet guys who live near us, the reason for this is we don't like the idea of a guy traveling a distance only to find that after meeting either he or we do not want to take things further.
We get replys from guys who do not fit the description we have clearly stated is what we are looking for. It is probably these guys who say that we are time wasters because they do not get a reply, come on guys what do you expect.
We also get guys e-mailing us after seeing our profile on . Their
e-mail consists of them saying if we are ineterested to get back to them and they will send a pic. They tell us nothing about themselves and don't include a pic and expect us to know if we are interested.

Sadly Natalie you are not alone and as Mark has pointed out, it is a common gripe amongst the more intelligent members of this group. Before anyone accuses me of being elitist I mean that, by intelligent, they are able who can read!! Mark does a great job with this site and appears to have the patience of a saint, when it comes to mis-posted ads and stupid questions. (I've asked a few stupid ones myself

Just to redress the balance a little, I read your advert having seen you were fairly local to me. However, on seeing that your cut off age was 40 and I am slightly over that, I didn't respond.
Still, at least I got to admire your photos
Pete & Sue, I'm sure you must get fed up of mails from people who do not meet your criteria, cannot read, have no imagination or are just plain stupid.
I appreciate most couples or single females advertising, will get inundated with offers from single males and that to reply to each and every one would be time consuming.
However, when an advertiser has asked for a detailed response and asked for certain criteria to be met, I feel the least they could do is respond to those who have taken the time and trouble to do just that. (I must stress that this complaint is not aimed at yourselves, by the way.)

We have a standard reply that we send to all guys that we do not wish to meet but only if they have taken the trouble to include in their e-mail what we have asked for.
Unfortunatly most guys seem to take the attitude that they can't be bothered so we do likewise and do not reply to them.

You wouldn't believe the number of mails I get from guys offering me their services even when I have clearly posted an ad in the right section.
I've changed the wording now for the hard of understanding
The last one read "I think we are looking for the same thing", to which I replied "well if you a re a guy looking for women you are right"

i agree with natalie,it is very irritating to find men for women posted in the women for men an operator i have spoken to mark on this subject within the last few days.I think the posters look get the idea that the ad will get more views by placing it in the women for men section.I would prefer to see the relevant ads being removed totally and the poster being notified of the fact,and if they wish to post an ad to post it in the correct section.
Tongue, i couldnt agree more. Being a male posting in the men looking for cpls and men looking for woman, despite having little response, i can take the hint with out having total disregard for the catogories. I would be in favor of all adds that are in the wrong catogories being removed.
