Its not much (although i have done and continue to do lots of good deeds for peeps - when you've had, cancer, heart disease and blindness in you're family...its comes naturel..!) but, every Friday, today included, I always leave a chocolate or two for the cleaner in our building...she leaves very nice thank you notes which mean a lot to me............thats all folks.
CC... cool
I'm sending my mum a big box of cadburys flakes this weekend.
She live's in the USA(and I miss her loads) and they can't get flakes over there.
Morbius bought me a bottle of perfume yesterday, it's the one I've been after for months but convinced myself I couldn't afford it.
Totally spontaneous and wonderfully thoughtful

damn it... how do I do something thoughtful and nice for someone in the US ? no political answers here cos I know them all.
the post takes too bloody long to be any use. I text daily. we talk on the phone and e-mail.
ideas ? confused :?

Interflora? I think sending flowers is always wonderful, and receiving them is the most exciting thing ever! Especially if you have their work address, so they can be all faux-embarassed-but-secretly-smug in front of the whole office biggrin
I often send Mrsfc a bunch of 12 red roses to her place of work, I know they are her favourite flower..........BUT WHAT THE HELL AM i GONNA DO NEXT YEAR............25th anniversary

Oh don't go all coy now!.................you know I'm sorting that one out ! :smoke: :confused2: :confused2: :confused2:
Took this very sorry looking homeless guy standing outside McD`s in Stratford for a big mac happy meal. He took the food , went outside and proceeded to immediately rummage thro` the litter bin outside M+S...
You can take the man from the street..........etc........
I did think..........along with my sis..........that one crimbo...........we would spend crimbo day giving food to the homeless.
sorry for bringing this a bit down now.......but I've just found out that the guy who likes below me was involved in a horrible attack that lead to him pretty much being a recluse for the best part of 2 years......and I only found this out from the local news.............I feel terrible that someone living so close to me was in that state........on the plus side he's recently been back to college and is now about to go to university........well done him........
so I think my good deed for the day is to send him a congrats card.........although I feel terrible that I didn't know what he was going through at the time and couldn't help out....... sad
A few years back I was coveting a Norwegian military sleeping bag (don’t ask it’s a long story rolleyes )
Well eventually I saved up the Dinah’s to purchase said item, had to travel down to Portsmouth to pick it up so we decided to make a day of it.
On our return journey we decided to stop at the local kebab house as it was late and I saw a young bloke sleeping in a doorway across the road. It was a bitter cold night and he only had a single blanket over him, by impulse I got my treasure sleeping bag out of the car and went over and gave it to him.
The look of relief and gratitude was worth more that a 1000 sleeping bags.
As for all the nice things I do for Mrs Pete ……… well they are just too many to mention innocent
 ……………… what dunno no honest I do bolt

with it being the scool holidays I decided to do something nice for my niece and nephew, so I took them swimming as they had never been, we had such a good time that when we cam out 2 hours later the traffic warden was stood by my car, I had gone 3 mins over the time, but they said they had already taken the photo(didnt even know they did that) but when I questioned the 3 mins they said I had gone longer as thier hand held machine thingy was 5 mins faster than the ticket machine, anyway after telling them off I decided to go to the council office straight away and complain, only thing was it was soooo hot and when I wound my window down the fecking ticket went down the window!!!! so I cant even prove what time I was there, so my point is that my good deed and being nice cost me a £35 ticket!!!!

This is just a priceless jesture, .............. nothing could ever give you back that feeling of such a selfless act.
Pete !!! you big softie x
My nice and thoughtful thing that I did today was to NOT let road rage get the better of me while on the M25 today !!!!!!!!
Steve did a wonderful thing for me last night :inlove:
It was only sitting and talking but what he said meant more than any present in the world kiss

I've just come from another thread and saw the most romantic post :inlove:
I thought it merits it's own thread as hopefully we can all build on this and have a "Show you're thoughtfulness" thread biggrin
I didn't want to trash the Steam Room with all this love, so starting a new thread just for this - and what better way to begin than with PoshKates initial contribution cool
ggrrrrrr..........
I've just spent the last hour decorating a glass for sheddy as I knew it would make him smile when he got in from work............only to realise now that one of the paints I've used isn't glass paint after all and is actually water based so if he actually uses it it'll just all run off in the wash......
why do all the tubes look the same..........and why can't i just stop being blonde for a bit and not do silly things like this........
not really angry just sad that my surprise has gone wrong.....

What a lovely thing to do!
isn't it..........I've just got home from work and found said glass there was nearly tears I tell you .............. isn't she just wonderfull :inlove:
I thought it would be really nice for people to do something thoughtful today/tomorrow/over the weekend, and post it here
Jeez, how did I miss this one.
The girl is obviously a diamond.
I'm going to try and do something nice for someone now!
