I hate breakfast. I force myself to eat a slice of toast because 'it's good for me' and I quite often only eat that when I've got to work and had at least two cups of coffee.
Nothing to beat a hot bowl of porridge - no that's not a euphamism, it's oats LOL. With a drop of extra milk and a big spoon of brown sugar. Lovely. Shame I only have time for bran flakes most days.
As a side note to this thread, here are some of Mr John Harvey Kellogg's thoughts:
"A remedy which is almost always successful in small boys is circumcision...The operation should be performed by a surgeon without administering an anesthetic, as the brief pain attending the operation will have a salutary effect upon the mind...In females, the author has found the application of pure carbolic acid to the clitoris an excellent means of allaying the abnormal excitement. "
He invented his nasty slop to lower the sex drive of the American people, as he believed a high protein brekkie would be far too arousing
So swingers beware; two fingers to corn flakes and a big hello to scrambled eggs!
I stuff my face at brekkie!
It's my favourite meal of the day!
My mum and I always ate it, whereas my dad and sister never, my mum and I have always been slimmer than them , and I think it's because of brekkie!
I can't eat straight away- I get up too early for work, so I usually eat when I get in.
It's usually a bowl of porridge with a wee touch of salt, or museli and a seed mix with natural yoghurt and fruit chopped in, plus another piece of fruit, some fresh juice.
I'll occasionally have cooked brekkie at the weekend, but it would have to be grilled!
I've usually eaten my lunch during morning break and stuff myslef with ryvitas or oatcakes and veg, so later in the day I'm never hungry-i'm weird!
If I don't eat breakfast then I end up having biscuits or cakes from the staff room etc- bad maz!
If I do have break, I'm not usually hungry at night so wouldn't always have dinner....
But I do eat a feast all day long!!!
I have a whole shelf at work- the office looks like a supermarket with all my munch packets!
M xx
Maz - "But I do eat a feast all day long!!!" - how do you stop the ice cream from melting; or is that half the fun?
