Hi Ya everyone
Yes Im a single male........... and I just wondered if genuine meetings between females or couples and the single males does happen from this site. I have read all the posts about what you should put in your advert etc and to try to stand out in the crowd. I have posted some adverts and never ever had 1 PM or reply really to any of them. I have always made it known that I am prepared to travel within reason and that I will respect any boundries etc. I know it doesnt happen over night but I am just curious. I would love some help from those couples or females who are genuinley looking to meet people like me, on what they look for in an advert or what they look for in a guy. I appreciate all replies I will get to this. Thanks alot and thanks to all the people behind the scenes who make this a great site lol

If you're having trouble getting to know people through ads and emails, get yourself to a Munch, that's what they're for. They're not orgies, there are no expectations, they're just opportunities to get to know people and get yourself known in a fun, relaxed atmosphere with no strings attached. biggrin

Aye it does happen! I've never had a reply to an advert ever but I've still had a lot of fun. If you are prepared to put in time on the forum or the chatroom (whatever you are comfortable with) you will yield results. However if you are a pratt, a wanker, a tosser, a dickhead, a troll, a fuckwit, a moaner, a pisstaker, an arrogant bastard or if you happen to have a humor or sensitivity by-pass or are just basicly immature you will not be welcome. If you happen to think that you are going to get an instant shag, just because we are swingers, you will be dissapointed. However if you show that you are capable of being mature and handling the emotional complexity of being a swinger then you will stand a better chance of having some fun.

monty and :welcome:, yes it does, ive had replies/requests for meets even though im new, so there is life out there for the single man.
Possible reason for this are,
1 i have a face pic (though i can't see how mine works in my favour!!!) shows im not a reporter anyway.
2. i always try to be honest, polite and have a laugh (don't take the wee wee)
3. i bum around in the cafe and people are getting to know me. (I spend far too much time on here for the good of my eye's and my domestic chores)
4. it maybe the cock shot in my add, (oh come on i had to get that in somehow!)

I can only talk from the single woman side here - and I have to say that I would shy away from meeting a single guy from an ad. There are the obvious things like safety for me to consider that even chatting one on one wouldn't totally alleviate. And on the couple of times I have tried to get to "know" a single guy from an ad, before meeting I have, on both occasions, felt pressurised to "cut the talk and meet fora shag". So I haven't felt at ease and I haven't gone through with it. Since joining this forum I must say that I would recommend to anyone - but most especially single people - that they join the forum and take the time to get to know the people on here first. I am already feeling so much at ease - and so much "safer" already. (how many "already's have I put in there????)
So - I can't answer your actual question becuase I'm a swinging virgin - but I hope I've been able to add a slightly different perspective. confused

I haven't had any messages from my Ad here, but I have had replies and meets from ads I've replied to (did that make sense? Hey its 2am!). Something else to remember is that every single fem posting an ad on here can expect several hundred replies. You really have to stand out in order to get a look in! Its the same on all swinger/sex sites. The single guys always vastly outnumber the single fems. Tells you a bit about human nature, doesn't it? lol

thanks folks for all the replies to the post. I appreciate them all. Thanks to the single woman who posted a reply also cause it gave me a good insite to the way they think and yes I totally agree with her because of the safety aspect of a private meet. Maybe alot of other people could take this on board. anyway thanks agian people and keep the advice comming cause there are loads of us single lads who are genuine on here and cant get anywhere hehe lol
