I think people who have kids have to be very careful, cause altho i am not ashamed of what we do i wouldn't want my children knowing or other kids finding out from their parents gossip and teasing them cause of it, also b4 we moved when we was still living in mansfield the local gosip woman in our village got sniff of what we was upto and we ended up having social services at our door as she said i was unfit to have 3 girls in my house cause i was bi sexual now there was nothing they could do about it as we never bough people home while the kids was in, thats one of the main reasons we use clubs and as they said my sexuality has nothing to do with it as lesbian/gay couples can foster/adopt, but its still not nice having them question your kids about your lifestyle nor is the though that people think ur a less fit mother because of it.

My sister knows ..................... and I always tell her who I'm meeting, where, when and who he is etc
One of the guys I work with knows - he uses the site as me and found my ad redface

but he's never said anything to the others at work - neither have I about him
My sons don't know ............... at least I dont think they do ! But then most kids think parents having sex isnt proper anyway lol.
If my parents were alive - i wouldn't tell them.

Ok here goes.........
I decided not to tell of my not so little secrets lol

I will wait until 1 day when they find out themselfs then just try to explain everything to them, after all they might not find out yet anyway :lol:
Thanks all for your advise its has helped loads and yeah i aggree, why should i need to tell my family...my live, my sexuality, my business !!!
Now then, where's the ladies! :lol:

I think that is wise. I was only going to add that if they do find out from another source and ask you why you didn't tell them, all you've got to say is because you thought they wouldn't understand. If anything does - that'll bring 'em around as long as you say it in the right way.

well, my mother, mother-in-law, aunt and sister all know.
mother because i told her.
mother-in-law knew from my wife, well the wife cant take girlfriends round there without suspicions being raised.
aunt. well she's a swinger herself, and yes, has seen my ad.
and sister, she found out by accident. she was on my pc, and looked in my favorites. :shock:
all of them are ok with our whole situation, and infact are very understanding.
my sister has even expressed her interest. so i have directed her to S/H.
note:- will have to change pic in ad. lol

blimey, that's some relaxed family you come from.
that's amazing. Im really heartened to hear that some
people and families are just so open minded an understanding.
Just wish more people were like that...but as we know, many aint!

i didnt mention my mum's initial reaction.....we almost had to call in the UN...but they were busy at the time lol

it took her a couple of years to come round to the idea, but i dont know if she just accepts it, or what, but she never brings the subject up now.
my wife was openly bi/gay when we first met, so it was never a shock to her mum.
i was shocked when i found out my aunt swung, she always seemed so straight laced, but we do have a good laugh about it now, and has given some very good advice, well, she has swung since the early 60's, and is still going strong, so has plenty of advice to give.
as for my sister, she has the same mind set as i do, so i knew it would be only a matter of time.

Interesting selection of ideas - think you were best keeping it to yourself....as long as you are comfortable with your alternative lifestyle why a need to shock or upset others...I keep it all quiet and am quite happy that way.

Yep, i can imagine my parents being like that too. Still its really interesting that your auntie had been swinging since the sixties. That's great to have some really good support close at hand.
Ive got so many questions id love to ask people about the pitfalls you could face but you cant exactly get them all across on a forum so being able to ask your aunt must have been a huge help. Glad its worked out well for you eventually anyway.

my aunt has never hidden the fact she was a swinger, to tell the truth, she's proud of it, and would shout it from the roof tops if she could.( and probebly has at somepoint)
she's been invaluble to us, well me especially.
my wife and i have a very unusual situation, and with my aunts experiance, was an absolute godsend. without her i think i would have divorced my wife years ago. (as i said, complicated situation) she talked it through with us every step, she made absolutly sure that we would meld in with the "scene", and that my wife and i would be comfortable with what we were undertaking.
we have now come to our understanding, and we swing the way we want to swing, and are both very happy with the arrangement.
in all honesty, if i had found this site before the swinging started, then i would have asked advice from here anyway. (although i do still have a lot to learn)
