Like an idiot, I told someone, best kept sweet, that I'd download some Eminem and bring her in a disk. I do not want to stay up all night screening this stuff. Are there any fans out there who can recommend any 'not too aggressive' tracks, cos so far what I've heard is likely to set her off on one. :scared:

Most of Eminem's stuff is pretty aggressive but personally I found that the "Eminem Show" album is less explicit than the others...... or you could get the censored songs but they sound the same anyway....apart from a load of bleeps!
Hope this helps.
biggrin
what about.... hmmmmm
"Kill You "
and ..... "Kim"
both from the Marshall Mathers LP
lol
I like peanut flavour best biggrin
ooooh
and
My Dad's gone Crazy!! from the Eminem Show...
She'll love it.... hehehehehe
The key is to avoid 'resentment' tracks..you know, the 'let's kill anyone who works for the government' type songs..... Bad language I can cope with lol

personally i would go with the track STAN (featuring Dido) and My Dad's gone Crazy (which features his daughter) both catchy tracks and not as full on as his others wink

I agree that stan is a little less full on.
I would say the commercially relased single tracks from first and second Marshall Mathers and Emmenim Show are a little less agresive than the rest of the album tracks.

yes they do tend to tame them down for commercial release, thats why you see mothers having heart attacks up and down the land when they buy the albumn for their kids lol lol
Well, with a little help from my friends, and a little scanning, I think I whittled it down to 'non-angry' tracks which she won't relate to too much.
Bloody hard work that was. I was playing each track, listening to the first few lines, and saying 'OMG, that has to go!'
At one point the playlist was down to three tracks lol

So , what did you pick then????
most of its got some swear words
some of it has gangsta profanity
but i love it all
as above, which ones did you pick after? smile
I cant believe the V isnt winding us all up !!! Asking for non aggressive Marshall Mathers is like asking for Dark Demonic Max Bygraves . LOLOLOL
