I think that's a fantastic video! The song 'Hurt' is a cover by Nine Inch Nails, but it's made all the better when Cash sings it. Apparently, when it was first shown to his daughters, they all burst into tears. It leaves a lump in my throat. I think he died six months after that video was shot.

I like the original, but I just can't hear it anymore without thinking about the Johnny Cash version. Reznor's original is raw, with a minimalist feel to it, and that's good. But when I hear Cash's vocals, this powerful voice coming from such a frail body, it hits me to the core.
And then it's performed against this amazing video showing you the man as he was, and the man as he now is, and you're just left speechless. This was the last thing that he did. What an amazing way to say goodbye.......................

As a child I listened to Johnny Cash music as my late father was a big fan..
I have liked him ever since...
The song is especially powerfull when you take into account how his life unfolded with regards to his addictions etc.
An extremely talented man who continues to entertain even when no longer here.

certainly strikes a chord with me.
very sad to see how his life was wrecked thru his addictions and never knew anything of it till watched walk the line this brought up listenin to his music,always on on a sunday mornin before sunday roast. and reminds me of good times at home as a kid. cash wrote and recorded 60 songs between june carters death and his own to keep him occupied and then to die broken hearted 5 mths after his beloved,sad end to a sad but amazing and talented life.

Oh god i'm a huge huge huge fan of him and yes the song and video moves me to tears almost every time for some reason it takes me to a sad point in my life but it doesn't stop me loving it
Edit I've just dug said video out of my 8 gigs worth of Cash stuff on my hard drive and yes it's tears and goosebumps again pure genious :)

Hang on in darkfire's defence the link posted didn't just relie on realplayer it also gave you the option to open the file in Windows Media Player which as we all know is as clean as a whistle :)

I wasn't having a go at your link, I was having a go at RealPlayer !:) If you use RealAlternative it'll play all RealPlayer content without you having to load RealPlayer (which is what I was saying is spyware infested shite, not your link !)
Apologies if it was taken the wrong way...
As for WMP, there's no spyware in it, in fact you can configure it to not tell anyone anything (even as far as anyone else that uses your PC not knowing what you've looked at previously ;-))
