just been reading the post Escorts, good question but, as per-useual some one hijacked it............ then it went back to being all about the original question!
i do know it was a genuine question and i hope the answers you got where helpful.
but i was enjoying the bit about the cars.
so........ what have been the best and worst cars/vans for (making out in)?
mine...... best = trasit van (plenty of room and privacy) lol

worst = the old soft top mg (opposit reasons) mad

ADD ON; mondeo`s are better than escorts, i have one! and it`s on an estate!!!
this is only ment as a bit of fun seeing as though there seems to be alot of agro about all sorts of stuff at the moment :lol:

A hard one this as i always seem to end up over the bonnet and theres plenty room on there lol

My 1977 Buick Regal... Bench seat in the front so the lady can sit right next to you for a cuddle or whatever without the handbrake lever or the gearstick getting in the way!!!
The Worse???
Prob the current DJ van cos there is f*ck all room with all the gear in!!!!

OK, this is showing both my age and financial status of the time but the Austin Cambridge took some beating. Shagging on that full bench seat above Fistral Beach in Newquay with feet poking out of the window was excellent.
The worst was a Ford Anglia but it did call for versatility, so maybe it wasn't so bad after all.
Now, you couldn't pose this question about motorbikes, could you?

I must say that the old Bedford CF van had a great advantage over the transit in that in a Bedford you could get a double bed matress in sideways with room to spare and in the front the seats were deeper and further away from the dash. only thing was that annoying gear stick but if you rammed it into first or 4th gear there was clearence to let you use the whole width of the cab ! Just to keep on topic I had a mk2 Escort van once very good but being tall it was a little cramped in the back, what with following the traditional practice of "wooding out" ie partion between front and back and down each side and of course on the floor. The ultimate shagging waggon for me was a ford cargo 7 1/2 ton box lorry ! never mind a bed, you could have had a bedroom in there!
