Greetings peeps, Ive read posts on the SH weekends held at this hotel and wondered if anyone has gone there on a 'normal' weekend. What were your impressions of the hotel?
What was the atmosphere like and the mix of people? Were there many single males present during your visit and if so how did they conduct themselves?
The reason for asking, simply we're new to this (complete virgins so to speak) and thought we might try this way to meet people first as we are not of recent manufacture though still roadworthy. you can send me a PM if you dont want your opinions aired on here or email me, my addy is on here somewhere. All responses gratefully received. including any handy tips lol...regards Z
seems a popular place, only one person on here offers a response lol
I do a very good Tommy Cooper impression ..... Man walked into a bar ....... hurt his head ........... it was an iron bar .... huh huh huh
Is that the kind of stuff you wanted to know??? C'mere ...There's more!!!
no hot water when I went there several months ago

dont reminde me of my cold shower i had to endure!.....
the hotel rooms are not very good, but if its just a place to drop ya head then thats ok. the swinging section it self is good, i had a really good night. so it is probably worth doing.

I went on the SH weekend and had a whale of a time  and then went again a few weeks later on a Friday night. Apparently Fridays are the quieter of the 2 nights, but there were about 10 couples there and maybe 3 or 4 single men who all behaved impeccably as far as I saw.
As others have said, when it's busy there is a hot water shortage, although some of the rooms have electric showers... if you're lucky enough to get one of those then you can have a hot shower, but I do know that the owners were busy trying to sort that problem out by moving the boiler from its current position outside (the pilot light blows out lol)
I'd definitely recommend it, and will be going there again as soon as I have a bit of time to myself  69position blast :spit:  :swingingchair: sillyhwoar:
