'chilled out' and 'Central London' don't really go together!
Wherever you go around regent's park, you'll be horrifed by the prices and the crowds. Having said that, there is every kind of pub and club imaginable, so a few clues about the type of place you want might be useful... otherwise just grab a copy of "Time Out" magazine when you arrive and see what's happening.
Hi,
As well as Time Out you might want to pick up Friday's Evening Standard when you arrive in the old smoke.
It'll have a Metrolife pullout which lists the better pubs, clubs, bars, restaurants, gigs etc.
club called fabric is cool super club not sure on address as have always gone in by underground and home by taxi
also round covent garden (if u like beer try the porterhouse great selection of beerssome made in house try the oyster stout u may b suprised) or round soho u can't go wrong
I think our equivalent would be Old Compton Street (in Soho) then.
just drop us a pm and our reply will tell u
but u must phone them

Also very close to marylebone==one of the best high streets in london-loads of shops, restaurants and pubs. If you fancy meeting up with a single guy i am also available
Hi you two - I live next to Regents Park and will be more than willing to show you around - if you are after ' normal'clubs and bars there are millions on offer - for any advice drop me a line on my email - xxxx
just get the tube to Picadily and walk to old compton st, save the cab fair, bump into london nutters, illegal immigrants, beggars etc on the way all the fun of the city
Sugar Reef in Great Windmill Street is a nice bar, good food upstairs if you want it and a good cocktail menu....the bar downstairs gets busy with after-workers but still has a nice relaxed feel to it. It's only a couple of miles from Regents Park.

Theres a great Vodka Restauarant in central london, that has a nightclub downstairs.
A little Gothic and "Blade" like, but its a good atmosphere and the food, and more importantly Chilli Vodka.. is amazing.
