Well there are a lot of people who think differently but I think gel are stronger than acrylic and have tried both. There is a new type of gel now that is coloured so no need for polish and also less chance of chipping and the whole process is therefore faster as well. Disadvantage is that if you want a lighter colour then the nails have to come off and start again. Find a good nail technician and you should be set up for life ... and I challenge anyone to bite gel or acrylic nails wink rotflmao

I have had gel nails the last couple of times, I have them at the minute and I dont find them half as strong or long lasting as acrylic dunno Perhaps I am just very tough on nails :lol2:
my nails are naturally long, but i hated it if one broke, so about 5 years ago i started to have them covered with acrylic.
I think it lasts longer and is stronger, mine are always french manicured. cost around £40 a month but so worth it.

Forty quid a month? Fuck my boots!
I wouldn't pay that for BUPA to look after my whole body much less just my nails.

Preach it brother!
£46 for my Estee Lauder Idealist facial serum but worth it. I was using a free sample when by best friend told me how well I looked. That was the only thing i'd done differently so I went and bought some. That was last Christmas tho and as you only use it once a week - I haven't even used 1/3 yet. Well worth it.

Is £20 a lot of money in Scotland then.......... rolleyes
Christian Laboutin shoes
They are very expensive but for the style they are comfortable and you can wear them for a long time. They are designed with the arch in mind so support ur feet properly. Too many heels are designed badly.
Also Bio oil, its not majorly expenisve about 20 quid but it is amazing and keeps ur skin looking young.
a Dave_Notts kidney.

Nah it was expensive but bloody useless
I so have to agree with the Radley handbags!! They just smell so yummy! However, I have never paid full price for one but picked them up in sales. And here's Radley's own on line sale at the mo-

Also
