I got up an hour early and watched Strictly come dancing on fast forward with my daughters boyfriend who couldnt stop laughing as i kept getting the fast forward bit wrong and spent most of the hour going forwards and backeards coz i only wanted to see the dancing bits
I went to work an hour earlier. God .i must be mad, sad and stupid
I've never understood the argument for saying we need to change the clocks Spring and Autumn.
Schools and employers could just tell their pupils/employees that in summer the work day is (say) 9 - 4 and in winter it's 8-3.
Hardly rocket science. So long as it doesn't go outside standard bus/train timetables should be no problem at all. Schools would probably want to do it in a borough by borough way. But there is no parctical reason as far as I can see that the clocks actually have to be reset just to allow people to travel in daylight more often or at a different end of the day. dunno

My extra hour was totally wasted, I went to bed at midnight and my son woke me at unwell he had me up all night so that extra hour was spent being nurse. :violin: lol

That's one of the reasons why we love our mums

I am soo glad it's not only me who can't get the fast forward right! I always miss the start and have to rewind back and end up watching half the ads anyway.redface
