ok, this could be seen as a moan, and related to the chatrooms so sorry in advance.
ive just been looking at the extras package, very similer to cool tools ( am i allowed to say that ???)
one thing i didnt like is the whole stealth mode thing.
Ok if i go on cam i would actually like to have the option of who views the cam, rather than everone one being able to. this option is not available.
There are various reasons for this.... there are some people who i dont want seeing me, this may be because they are being rude, whispering without asking etc. The option to avoid this at the moment is to turn the cam off, but why should this have to happen? it could be avoided by having invite option added. Thereby enhancing the comfort of the cammer.
i know the other option is to go into a private room, but not all of us cam only to "put on a show" some it is to actually just show faces. So want to stay in your regular room but avoid the show me your tits whispers.
however i now notice under the extras package those who have it can actually view a persons cam without their knowledge.... ohhhh stalker and creepy in my opinion. Thefore i have now decided that i will no longer go on cam.
it seems bizarre that you have to ask to whisper some one , however this facility allows someone to view you without you even knowing.
am i the only one who is uncomfortable with this thought?
if so ill just shut up, lock the thread and ill go away sad

Seems you're not allowed to add an MSN link anymore either, used to have one for mine but no option for it anymore. can't think why rolleyes

fem.... i had exactly the same thought hunny... and i am sorry that you feel unhappy now being on cam... having been in the same rooms as you when the "show us your tits" and other comments have been happening.. i have to say that as a bloke i have been embarrassed by it at times.....
but i do think that the stealth cam is a really bad idea........
i have my reservations about certain other elements as well.... priority support (if you have a problem then you have a problem - regardless of whether you pay or not) and the highlighten on ads (are they going to keep these at the top - or just going to have the odd random brightly coloured ad going thru them) but we shall see how they work....
and i wish the hijackers had given it more that 10 minutes to start :roll: :roll:

sorry for starting another thread,
but while im here for the 5 so far that have sent those Fu**ing email that say id like to know more blah blah blah yes you have a reply , not one i think you are going to like just as i dodnt like yours.
tip to the guys out there , we all hate cut and paste replies when we have a ad up, fgs dont get on the id like to know more bandwagon cuse your on a ignore streel imho

Extras lol........ well I for one like some and not others. The winks are bloody awful, having seen how they are used on another site its a lazy way of replying..

i see i still have a constantly flashing New Mail sign, even though i have no unread mail. unless it's one of the mails it says i have but i can't see? dunno

If you have put admin on ignore, go into ignore folder 'unignore' them and the mail appears like magic ;)

although i'd have thought if you blocked someone you wouldn't want to know yoou've got mail off them?

and having checked one of the 'people i might be interested in' i remember why i blocked it.
last time i checked i wasn't a bi female couple & i'm not traveling to the other end of the country for someone who was last online 333 weeks ago :eeek:

Wish something could be done about the 'people I might be interested in' section, we are fed up with being sent details of straight males who are younger than our own kids.
Would it really be so hard to have a section where you state the age range you are looking for and, also, only be sent people of the sexuality you have expressed an interest in? confused

Same thing happened to me yesterday........the whole point in ignoring the admin mails was so I didn't get the annoying flashing thing :x

going back to the point of stealth mode , having read a few posts i agree about the stealth mode being abit on the creepy side . The idea of choosing who watches your cam is far better idea afterall would you want somebody thats been rude to you in one way or another then getting the chance to get off watching you "play" on cam ? far better to have the choice i say , anyway moan over

Can you please answer me why if you want to whisper someone you have to ask but someone can watch you on cam without you knowing?

Whispering without asking first is considered rude which is why you have to ask first... It's a bit like walking into someones house without being invited smile
