And the 'messiah' Hamilton is beginning to show his true form. Not quite as good as cracked up to be methinks.....

Maybe a "one season" wonder.. he's now got the fame and fortune, dumped his girlfriend, jumped on the bandwagon and now can't be arsed to do the business. His new team mate looks promising though.. cool

Seeing as he was "brake tested" then its hardly suprising he hit the sulky Spaniard up the jaksy ....
In todays F1 a damaged Aero package spells certain failure to score points unfortunately....
We shall see next year who the real drivers are when the aero package is all but eliminated and the reliance is on mechanical grip and driver talent...
I can lend someone an aero package if they need one!

Sam xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
the race wasnt very exciting but not as bad as when MS was racing and no one else really had a chance of winning
and i still back hamilton .... part of his problem yesterday was his old team mate alonso who seemed to slow down to my eyes !!

Remember a friend 35 years ago with a frog eye sprite who had a switch installed in the brake circuit to turn the brake lights on without actually braking!! Saw any "contenders" off for sure
:bounce:
Well i thought it was another good race some proper scraps going on again in the back  to BMW this is turning in to a great season, and as for Hamilton well he can only ride the luck so much this is official reason about clash with Alonso:
The incident initially caused some controversy in the paddock, with some suggesting Alonso may have deliberately lifted or ‘brake tested’ his rival – a theory since disproved by Renault who confirmed its driver had accelerated as normal coming out of the corner.
However a new reason for Hamilton driving into the back of the R28 has now emerged, with McLaren’s CEO Martin Whitmarsh confirming the team later discovered his MP4-23’s front wing had already dislodged seconds before the contact.
This would have meant the car suddenly lost both downforce and drag, potentially causing a sudden burst of acceleration.
“It was only when I went into the engineers’ room and started looking at the details that I realised Lewis’s upper front wing had disappeared about two seconds before the accident, so he suddenly lost downforce.”
Whitmarsh believes that the broken wing was probably caused by contact with another car at a previous corner.

Looks like McLaren are seeking to play it down rather than persue it....
I suppose RD has had enough fun for the time being after he set Max up with those nazi prostitutes :lol2:

A little saying of mine is "Even monkeys fall out of trees" and in Bahrain the religious culture frowns upon extra marital activities ;-)

well F1 is world wide and encumpasses so many different cultures and i think its difficult no impossible to be ultra clean to all, but the knifes are out for him and hes been got.
Not really followed F1 for a few years now as it started to get more boring every season.
Rally is better to watch in my opinion.

Not for much longer it wont be :lol2:
Noooooooooooooo!
Formula 1 is much better, and it might improve even more now that it looks like the most hated person in F1 could be going for good.
cool 8-) 8-)
Ok so who is going to win today?
too close to call i think massa on pole but he hates this circuit and with a high potential wet race hes not been that good on losing all the traction control stuff.
i can see a few pace cars coming out, will be first wet race and on the most difficut race of the season, i cant wait :bounce:
hamilton is a demon round monaco if he can get past raikonen then its his.
Just watched Massa's lap in quali through the in-car camera.
scary track...or what?
lp
With the wet condotions, and the lack of traction-control in this race, I'm enjoying seeing the rear of the cars twitching under acceleration
I like to see a rear twitch.
lp
It seems several are twitching! biggrin
mine is, but then, I'm particularly excitable today
damp too!!
lp
Sutil's arse certainly twitched!
lp
all that damaged rimming too!
nasty
lp
surprised Lewis Hamilton...!!!! what a race... think I missed the rimming bits kept nodding off.... biggrin He did deserve to win I think.

brill win for hamilton, dont usually watch it x
Much as I hate the Monaco race I thought it was a good race...
Different stratagies(sp).....Dodgy weather and a few driving mistakes....
Lewis had a little luck but its what you need in a place like Monaco...
As for accidents.......Dont like to see them as when I am away at weekends my job is to attend such accidents and deal with injured drivers and no-one likes to see a driver injured...
Ok so who is going to win today, with Hamilton going back 10 places??
lol
I don't know - wont be able to watch it until tomorrow - got to tape it for my other half! oh well.. better stay off this thread till I've seen it!!
Poor Hamilton...
