"High horse stance!" On my soap box or whatever else you may call it!!!!!!
People that work for mobile phone companies do not "have their price" we are not interested in what you do with your private lives & if as an adult you are stupid enough to get a ringtone from a newspaper & not read the small print well tough luck! I do however feel sorry for the children that this happens to, & when they do manage to put £5 credit on their phone it's all eaten up by these low life 3rd party companies sending them reverse chaged text messages. There are thousands of companies out there that do this & its not down to the networks, some ppl actually want these messages! Ok I'm calming down now, but if anyone is having problems like this may i suggest they ring their network & get the number to stop them & then join the TPS (telephone preferencial service) once you have been registered with this company for 28 days your number then goes on their data base & the said 3rd party companies have to check if you are registered with them before they bombard you with with extremely expensive text messages! Their number is or failing that just type tps in your search engine
Rant over
Fair point IM sure there are plenty legit mobile phone sellers/operators (on a personal level!) but come on they are a corprate company, in for a penny in for a pound, as for advertising this was taken from a number advertised on a childs tv channel (blame the tv company or the advertisers!) they make it really easy for people to sign up for these things and why should people have to go through a load of rigmarole to stop these messages in the first place!!
Simple fact is they shouldnt be sent in the first place!!
Yes I agree if you do sing up then its your problem but they really need tighter rules and regulations to get these services in the first place evn if it is just ringtones!

i have and i dont know how the hell thay get your number, well i do really, a member of staff at say vodafone sell your details even though its has a price.

mad
The amount of people that ring up on a daily basis saying that they have never given their number out is untrue, some I feel sorry for & others I think are just plain stupid (the ppl that have at least 20 different companies spamming them  ) I don't agree with it but if a company is going to make money out of ppl they will.
Hey Mark just remember not to shoot the postman next time he delivers shite to your door, he is just providing the delivery service & not the shite, same applies for a network
the poor asods only get one pence a leaflet...... sod that! dog bites are more than enough.
