Hiya Moonie (!) and :welcome: to the site!
A nice, thought-provoking thread to start out on. However, don't be surprised if you don't get the response you were expecting. The thing is, yes, it happens- however, most people are going to want to keep it very, very private.
Good to see a newbie posting

NWC, are you sure you're feeling OK?
lol
I think there's more chance of two single people falling for each other than people from couple relationships. As a single you meet, you have fun, you may have sex, and with that as single people there must come some emotions of fondness, possibly love for some. It's human nature.
If you are already in a relationship and you are all consenting you are already (for the majority) in love with your partner so this issue prob. doesn't arise.
So yes, Moonie I suppose there's a higher chance you could fall for your playmate, there is a strong bond of intimacy at the end of the day.

Really?
theres falling in love with and getting a crush on your playmate, i thing the latter can be mistaken for love because you are dealing with people in a far more intimate way here, than say, the woman/man you see behind the pie counter at Greggs.
Feelings of lust and horniness can meld and be mistaken for more than they are in the heat of passion.
In answer to your question GODESS....i have done the latter, made an arse of myself and moved on!! redface surprisedops:  I think its one of the perils of swinging I think.
Sometimes people can turn your head because they provide you with something that is missing in your life current relationship at the time.
In my case it was someone saying nice things to me, compliments and telling me how sexy i was (thats it pure and simple....lmao....god Im a cheap date lol  AND also easily pleased too....oh the shame
Feelings are odd, and can often fool you that they are something completely different!!
BTW I have learned from my mistake (just in case future playmates are worried) lmfao!!

Puts head above parapet & confesses to starting the Moonie thing

However, must admit that saying the above is tantamount to saying "oh no, please don't cover me with whipped cream!" (Any excuse to reminisce.)
dunno
