Fancy being a Mentor? Read on..................

Itâ€™s the return of the Mentoring Scheme!!!
Last year I ran a mentoring scheme whereby regular Site members volunteered to assist and guide newbies, to help them settle in and become more active members of the site. They were able to offer advice and guidance, explain what are good posts/ads and what are bad posts/ads, how to behave in the Chatrooms, what happens at Munches/socials and how to generally to get the best from the Site.
Well, itâ€™s time for some more volunteers! Iâ€™m looking for regular forum users to do a bit of â€˜handholdingâ€™. I say â€˜regularâ€™, as itâ€™s no point volunteering to help if youâ€™re not online often! You donâ€™t have to be an expert in all areas of the Site, as Iâ€™ll still be around to support you, the main skills are patience, common sense and a sense of humour!
If you think youâ€™ve got what it takes, please either post here or by PM, I donâ€™t mind which. All those who applied last year are welcome to reapply again.

would like to help out if we can to any newbies but don't know about the chatrooms feel still quite new ourselves although have got a feel for the forum, LMU. Would be in a few weeks though when we will be free.

Thank you for those who have applied. I'll let everyone know after Wednesday as to who will be the Mentors. If anyone else would like to offer their services, please let me know by Wednesday.
It's good to see who wants to put something back into the site. lol

Best sales pitch?? No Mal.... more gentle sarcasm at those who would fall over at the thought I could actually help...... Then again I am willing to help if possible, why not! I could have used a little help here when first trying so think it a good idea.

I'd also be more than happy to offer my services as a mentor - I might not have been the most prolific poster on this site, but I'd like to help some of the newer people find their way in what can at times be a daunting place. I've previous experience of Chat rooms, and as a single guy who's been on the scene for a good few years - I think I might be able to point some of my more "Over eager" colleagues in the right direction!

I think we just about know the site inside and out now lol were both addicted to both chat and forum ( Shaz more so ) lol
If we can help out and hold any newbies hands while they settle in then we would be honored to help.

I'm a very diligent pupil and have a cute little school girls outfit....
Anyone want to be my mentor? wink
