I rasied a surrport ticket on the tech prob i was having But i have to raise it here because:
Now and then i be browsing the forum or adverts and i will be logged out! and when i click log in it takes me to the join up page? and click log in again and it just refreash's the page.
So i rasied a ticket when i i log in to see what you have put it takes me to the log in screen!
Am i the only one who gets this ???

It happens to us all but not for long it depends how much change they have in their pockets for the meter sometimes its fooked for 5 mins others a whole hour as St3v3 has to pedal down to tescos to get some more 50 pence pieces smile

I can always tell when it's flucked because at the top of the page in any of the forums it has a SQL error message wink

It's normally back up and running within 10 minutes though biggrin

Thats why i think its a maintenence or automatic procedure for backups or something.

We know about this, the server that handles the sessions (ie the bit on the site that knows you are logged in) is a bit tired and every once in a while it hangs up, when the site is on the new server array this won't be an issue, in the mentime Elliot has written a script that will reset it, the script runs every 5 minutes and checks the member stats, if they equal 0 then its fecked and is restarted, as the member stats update every 5 minutes things can go weird for upto 10 minutes.

I bet its not a script really.
They have the SH servers connected to one of them little bike light dinamo's on the hamster wheel and every time SH goes down is when they swap shifts biggrin

no need for silver currency sheddy. anyone who's ever lived in a cold water flat knows all you need is a bit of plasticine, and a freezer. take imprint of 50p in plasticine, fill with water, freeze, insert ice pop in meter. jobs a good 'un.
alternatively, take a 2 pence piece, wrap with sellotape a few times to approximate size and shape of 50p, cut off some corners with a pair of scissors so it has roughly 7 sides, insert in meter.
course option two leaves a bit of evidence when landlord empties said meter, but option one is undetectable . . . least till the bill comes . . . .
