A lot of people malign the scouse accent.
However there are many varying scouse accents.
Speaking as a wooley back .........
I love the one which is soft and quite lilting - probably takes it's history from southern Ireland. This one is not gutteral.
I do dislike the harsh scouse accent but unfortunately this is the one most used on TV.
hmmmm Any accent'll do!
Especially love a nice soft Scottish accent - was on a BA flight to Aberdeen a few weeks ago, and the announcements were made in said tones....amazing!
Geordie worls for me too, so long as it's not too fast...Northern accent (watch me get slapped for that sweeping statement!) is nice too.
Irish is nice, but hard to find...
Welsh - yeah like that too. And west country....hell anything that isn't southern and harsh sounds good to me!
Having lived in the for a few years, I agree - the accent does change massively...made me smile the first time I was with a girl from Black Heath....instead of screaming "yes" to a rythm, she screamed "Arrr" - NN will be able to fill you in on a bit more of this local dialect maybe!?

Thank goodness for some sense! I was born and bred (or should that be bred and born, mmm) in liverpool and I have hardly any accent at all, so I'm told. It does seem to me that whenever a Liverpudlian is on the TV the presenter has gone out of their way to find the harshest version of the accent in the scaliest most brain dead person they can find, yernowhaameanlike!!
For me a stilting German or Italian accent does it every time

As I have an Irish accent I should biasedly vote for that but I am opting for the following
A cute foreign broken English accent,

Oooo you'll like mine then! I make do pretty ok most of the time but all it takes is five minutes on the phone to my Mum speaking in Malay and I lose all grasp of the English language after that.

I have only lived here 3 years m8 so i'm not a expert on the local dialect lol
i just have noticed the the accent changes so much from town to town is such a small area and in tipton where we live it is very strong but you only have to go a few miles down the road to walsall or wolves and they sound totally diffarent.
I like an Irish accent, but any will do as long as they keep saying more wink

Notts is a good accent

For me Id have to say the Irish accent works for me. Im from London and live in the Midlands there are a few people here that love my accent lol reminds them of Danny Dyer lol

I am a southern ( London) Lass living in the East Midlands... I quite like a Scottish accent

French, Irish and Spanish

A nice Welsh accent can do it for me.

Irish and Scottish accents do it for us but as we come from South Africa - we have been told that our accents are sexy……. I don’t think so but each to their own
