Hey Everyone.....please forgive me for this really moany post......I don't often give in to self-pity but I have to say that I'm there right now....
Let me explain what's going on. My entire body is falling apart......about six weeks ago I fainted at work and thought it was nothing but last week I fainted again, twice, and so went to the Doctor's and he has sent me for blood tests (results tomorrow). I feel sick for most of the time and dizzy. I can't go out for fear of fainting and I've had to cancel plans that have been made this month. I'm in danger of being kicked off my Nursing Course because I've taken so much time off. Apart from the fainting thing, I've also got another medical problem happening which I can't really tell you about cause it's so embarrassing, but it means I can't have sex. And just because I thought I'd tell you everything, my toe and knee hurts cause I banged them when I fainted sad
So I'm just really feeling sorry for myself at the moment. I don't expect anyone to do anything about this but I'm stuck at home and bored and depressed so I thought I'd let you all know about it......
Helen.
Awwww Helen, big hugs from me hunny, I hate being ill too sad In fact I hate the time of the month as well cos I can't have sex boo!
((((Helen)))) can you try to take a year out from the course?

Helen, you take care, sorry to hear you feel so ill.
Like Venus says can you take a year out, or get extended leave from your course, a letter to your course tutor explaining your medical condition might help.
Thanks guys....its nice to know there are people here that care.
And Venus....i could take a year out but that means I wouldn't get paid and I can't live without my bursary so what would I do instead? No employer would take me on the way I am at the moment....
Awww...
:therethere: Hope they find out what's wrong with you soon, Helen... kiss
*gives Helen a big virtual ((((HUG))))*
Hi Helen

Dave_Notts xxxxxx
Hi Helen,
I'm sorry to hear about all this kiss
When you get your blood test results tomorrow, whatever is wrong, make sure you insist on an urgent referral to whoever you get referred to, otherwise it could take ages. Let's hope the test reveals something identifiable and easily treatable.
Let us know what the result is and what happens - and you're always welcome to pm me.
Thinking of you,
Mike xxxx
Helen i have met you..and all i can say to the others that havent.................. that you are such a nice and honest peep...........and i hate to here what your going through
I really do hope things pick up soon and get to the bottom of the fainting soon
It most prob just due to stress babes!
Here have a hug from old Debbiwebs passionkiss
Poor love, I do hope all will be well, and only some temporary minor ailment.
Try to keep your lip up love smile
Awwwww thanks everyone......I needed to smile and now you lot have made me smile
Hope you feel better soon babes, there some nasty bugs going around, I had a cold for a month now and still feel horrible whenever I try to do anything. Also this just a bad time of year, maybe you even suffering from SAD? (Seasonal Disorder thingy)
That can cause all sorts of symptoms but can be helped with a simple light box, still we almost out of dark all time period now. Look forward to summer babes, may seem a long way off, but always good to focus on something positive. In time all problems will sort themselves out, just soldier on through.
Hope things take a turn for the better soon.
Helen,
How could you do this to me
You know I rely on you to keep Kat occupied and out from round my legs wink
Seriously, hope you feel well better soon, don't let the system keep you waiting for weeks to end your worries - shout and yell until they listen to the voice of reason (or anything to shut you up!) and you get the answers you need.
Fruity - 8 weeks for an ENT appointment is classed as 'jumping the queue' in my opinion  I had to wait 3 months  lol
Big hugs Helen
ps glad you can still type kiss
xxx
Sorry to hear you're feeling crap H. sad
Fingers crossed here it's nothing serious and you're back better than ever soon. kiss
 the NHS will sort you out, take care wink
Oh babes..............
passionkiss
Get yr arse down here hunni, I'll look after you smile
Kitty xx
Sorry to hear you have been feeling unwell, Helen.
Like Debbie says, your symptoms could be down to stress and I imagine your studies and work combined will have a knock on effect. It's a difficult decision wether to continue or take time off from your course. But I think your health is far more important in the long run.
Take it easy, hun. Maybe a short break is all that it will take. Here's wishing you all the best!
Regards
LC

Silky stands with crop in hand and warns you to get to your GP!! It could be something as simple as low blood sugar or a reation to other meds you are on. Best let your GP know and nip what ever you are suffering from in the bud.
Thats an order!

My ears are buggered again thats me been referred to ENT cause my ears full of gun

I used to have to get my ears syringed out approximately every 1-2 years due to a skin allergy. There would come a point when they blocked up properly & I would not be able to hear, & I'd then have to wait a few days for the oil to work & to get an appointment. I used to get so bloody angry & frustrated during that time mad :x :x
DreamerHelen, hope you feel better soon passionkiss

I'm sorry to her that you are not well Helen. I have only ever fainted once before when I was at school and that was because I had not eaten anything that morning. I know that’s not the only reason people can faint but are you eating regular meals? I find it easy just not to bother eating and have to make sure I get regular meals. Try not to let your course get to stressed either. You could always just get a low stress job and then retake the year. If I was there I would give you an nice hug :therethere:
