Is that the entire message? Its a bit vague but its not as if that could not have come from someone who knew you? Have to say I dont often say "hope you are well" in messages I send out to prospective play mates that we have never met.

Most times I'd agree with you FB but then just sometimes don't you just want to scream out about it somewhere? I know I do at times, usually I notice a lack of wife children a dog occurs around about the same time oddly biggrin

I replied to an advert last week. I've been pretty much retired for the last couple of years so I figured I'd dip my toe back in.
So I waited for my PM to be read... and I waited some more. Three days later, I got a wink in response. confused
You know... the standard - I like your profile, check mine out blah blah blah...
Now correct me if I'm wrong, but is the whole point of an advert not so that people will respond and maybe even meet, god forbid there might be sex involved?!! :shock: Or am I mistaken?
Single men complain that they get no action? Well, whilst I appreciate not all single men are the same, what the fuck do they expect with that sort of effort, or lack thereof? rolleyes
I mean I don't think for a second I'm god's gift but given that I'm not a virgin, I'd like to think that I'm at least shaggable for some. :cry:

Looks to me like he just sent out a cut and paste mail. Don't be bitter just be thankful your "tosser radar" works and feel sorry for the other girls he sent it to who might not have the same skills as yourself.
I've never sent a generic mail yet in 5 years and I cant understand why people seem to think that no effort is enough :-?
As much as I should grumble about him giving single guys a bad name at least he's making those of us who are genuine and make an effort look better.
