Financial fantasy

I'm been thinking about what I'd buy if I were given a lump sum of (say) £5,000 or £10,000 and couldn't come up with anything significant.
My dream fridge freezer?
A new car??
A big flat TV set??
Nothing captured my imagination - I could fritter the money away on small items easily enough.
Is there anything you would spend it on?

I've never been on holiday dunno

(ok, i went to France with school for 4 days, but that doesnt count redface

) so yeah, I guess that would be nice for us as a family, for the first time lol

but I'm afraid I'm greedy - i'd need more than £10,000 but I know exactly what every penny would go on - the house wink

Ooooooooo! Well I would love to go to India whereas Mrs Kiss would want to go to Canada.
However India is one of the few countries that has a 7 Star hotel. I could go off exploring whilst Mrs Kiss enjoyed the luxury.

Can't get much of a house for £10,000 - where would you like to go on holiday? Any dream trips?

I've been to India - briefly - touched down in Bombay (as was) and then again in Dehli on way back. Don't need to go again I'm afraid. Canada is appealing and I've only ever heard good reports about it. Mmmmmmmmm - can I do it in a weekend??

No idea

me = USA, New York city break then out to Arizona to ride horses all day cowboy style & via somewhere lush & green but with a white sandy beach on the way home :lol: although right now, anywhere not in the UK would be nice!
Mr Dark = doesnt do sunshine, aeroplanes, anywhere hot or anywhere they dont speak English :crazy:... so unless anyone has some great holiday tips for chalk & cheese, I'll be at home again this year :lol:

Shireen would love to go back to Oz to see where she used to live and see her friends......I quite fancy that as well but I also have a hankering to go to Colorado and see some of the best Hillclimbing action in the world....

I'd blow the lot on a dedicated home cineam room.
With
DLP projector and motorised screen
Denon amp and DVD player
Kef or BnW speakers
Rel Subwoofer
and an 50+ inch plasma for evryday use lol

Cinema seating for about 10 people
£25k should cover it :lol:

heres the problem, not totally sure, but the one i have been researching is to be an asbestos assessor/surveyor, which i am finding quite interesting

With £10,000 I'd most likely dissapear into europe for a while, im fine not living in luxury, just a tent, my bike and the occasional bit to eat. I doubt i'd come back...

a camper van maybe?
